the queue times are increasing every month because brigitte killed the game, so this change will make the queue times more fun

If skirmish was FFA, I would be ecstatic. It isn’t though, one side usually vastly outweighs the other, spawn camps, or gets mad at you for being a “tryhard” for killing them instead of emoting.
that won’t really change even if they make the skirmish to be ffa
maybe if the skirmish gamemode is about getting kills then people will play the game ?
I’m sure it won’t, but at a bare minimum I can shoot my friends, which is frankly more fun anyway. Lol
It would be even better if they had two different skirmish modes, FFA and chill/no kill,but now we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

Also if score doesn’t mean anything since you will be moved to a match anyway, why even bother
Practice? Most people in normal FFA only care about score as an indirect representation of whether their practice is paying off.
People getting mad because of you using the mode for its intended purpose?
I would say just do it anyway but in this day and age you’d get reported and banned.

Also also, I can imagine people getting into an FFA game only to be thrown into QP/Comp/whatevertheywerequeueingfor after 15 seconds. So much fun.
I would love FFA skirmishes for comp and qp.
