Yes. Let us delete another shape or form of fun in the game. Emotes are next. Look, just lower voice volume, you won’t hear it or hear it as good.

How does it even affect you? Other people dont wanna hear voice lines but you still can, why does it even matter.

There are things like ult lines and footsteps that are crucial to the game. Lowering volume would be handicapping yourself. Also the constant spam makes it difficult to hear them.

I totally agree, I cant stand hearing ppl press their voice line like 4 times every 10 sec. They added a cd to it long ago but it is so short.

agreed. this shouldve been added a long time ago. they also need to add the ability to turn off interaction lines as well. i dont care for the lore or how the characters know each other …

I don’t think spammed lines have ever masked anything from me, especially since the volume is based on distance.

I mean I agree with OP. I think you’re thinking of giving the party the ability to ban voice lines, whereas my opinion is that I want to mute specific people. One voice line that gets on my nerves more than anything is Bastion’s Jingle Bells

I find a lot of D.Va players tend to do this (she has a higher-pitched voice I guess).

In comp I do find it a little distracting, especially when we’re all talking in voice. In QP I care a lot less.

It would be an easy addition to add ‘voice lines’ to the current mute feature.

I’m pretty sure you can use squelch chat on a player to disable their voice line spam.

And usually it’s the same few voice lines. There’s a holiday one that’s particularly annoying haha

The D.Va’s I’ve encountered seem to favor:

“I’m #1!” “I’m #1!” “I’m #1!” “I’m #1!” “I’m #1!” “I’m #1!” “I’m #1!” “I’m #1!” “I’m #1!”

For me it’s usually Winky face though the other day I had a Rein constantly spam Bring me another. I also don’t think there is any kind of cool down on the ability to use the Voice line because he was spamming it so fast it would cut itself off. Pretty much after the first word of the line. So It was just bring bring bring bring etc.

while some lines are needed “they’ve got a teleporter”, being able to mute other players’ voice lines would be nice.
