Let Sym’s turrets prioritize who she is shooting

Sym’s already pretty strong with her beam. Why would she need extra help?

You’d have to make a choice; have her strong and independent beam now, or have her beam gutted for the sake of maybe doing a bit more damage if you can set up your turrets, keep the target in range and keep the fragile orbs alive from 5 enemy players.

Also, I think Sym already deals a bit too much damage, but that’s just me.

She is not.

The very few people that play are specialists that make her work, or the Sym got pocketed and the enemy didnt focus her.

But Sym as a hero is still one of the worst DPS in the game by miles, with her worst historical t500 rep and her lowest historical winrate with no real change on her pickrate.

Sym has neither an independent or strong beam. Its better than her orbs, but ultimately its a delayed soldier primary fire with a third of its range.

She deals very little damage compared to other DPS heroes. Soldier is a better, easier and safer damage dealer at every range.

Even if you ignore Sym, her performance is not better than that of other DPS heroes if they are allowed to do whatever they want. In fact Sym gives you almost 2 seconds of her doing pathetically low damage to turn around and explode her squishy butt.

But they still have deployment time when they hit the ground. Which for any Opponent above bronze is enough time to clear them, faster still if they have any amount of communication.

Its so obvious the enemy can react to it before you get to level 2 charge. So go ahead and throw Turrets individually.
I’ll be using my Teleporter to move my Allies for a 2 front assault and/or TP bombs.

Oh damn, only 500 players play Overwatch 2?

Well, I’ve seen a fair few Sym’s popping off, and it doesn’t seem to be pure skill cutting people down but the damage from that beam.

Again, it is just my opinion and I don’t expect any changes to her. She is low picked already.

Nice strawman.

Her beam requires perfect tracking for 2 seconds to get what Soldier gets instantly from triple of Sym’s range.

Getting damage off her beam requires mechanical and positioning skills, and also requires constant team protection.

Ah, damn, I guess that Symmetra just does 0 damage because she’s not Soldier:76.

You’re either No.1 or nothing, right?
