Tracer used to be able to blink out of it.
Sombra used to be able to translocate out of it.
Genji used to be able to dash out of it.
Reinhardt used to be able to charge out of it.
What happened to that? Why was this even removed?

Some can. Reaper, Moira, Orisa, Symmetra, Mei.
It was removed because almost every hero could escape grav, rendering Zarya pretty crappy.

i tried on sym but it never seems to work, tele always comes up like 2ft away from me lol
Mei can break them free of the grav by placing the wall directly under her or her team mates :).
ah yeah that would explain why i had no idea. the last time i tried to save my team from a grav i turned the wall the wrong way and it popped up right beside them lol
Aren’t they still stuck in it ? IIRC ,the teammates and mei still get stuck in it ,they just go a bit higher.
Here’s how I would fix that:

Still stuck but higher up. Depending on terrain and opponents aim, this can still be enough to break a grav combo if they didn’t aim correctly before firing it off.
