Let’s stop with the “which hero is easiest”

because all it does is spark unnecessary argument where surprise some players degrade mercy, brig, moira players just because they have to aim with widow or ana.
every hero has their own skill set to get used to and for you to try and master
once again, aiming isn’t the only skill in this game

It’s mercy and brig and Moira, they are the easiest

Edit: but out of those 3, mercy is the hardest

Edit: I know your post is asking people to stop, probably because the 3 mentioned above are your hero pool, so I just said it again

…Man, I really wish I could tell people off on the forums without getting banned.

This is thrown around a lot. It’s true, but so few people actually believe that aiming is the only skill. The heroes that get called “low skill” require very little of any skill, compared to other heroes.

Notice how Winston and Rein don’t get called low skill heroes? No aiming required there.

There’s no need to fight, Moira, Brig and Mercy are all the easiest.

People definitely call Winston low skill. I even see people calling for nerfs on him. its kinda stupid that weapons that don’t require aim automatically make the hero in question skilless according to some.

Rein for whatever reason is an exception and is never called out on anything (unless your name is Jessika). Other than that, the others definitely do.

Look at win rate increases from bronze to gm for each hero on overbuff. This represents skill ceiling. Statistically speaking brig is the easiest, second is Moira third is mercy.

I agree that many people have learned that aiming isn’t the only skill, but some people still seem to believe it. And sometimes people who don’t play a hero are not aware of the challenges of that hero too.

Even in this thread Mercy is being called low skill, probably because in the moth meta even bad Mercy players could do well. But that isn’t really the case any longer and her movement can be challenging. I wouldn’t call her easy.

Personally, I do think Moira is pretty easy though.

Actually I see a lot of Orisa is low skill arguments. Even when she does aim

Rein actually gets quite a bit of crap from people saying his ultimate is too op, despite the fact that it is remarkably easy to shut down or prevent any follow up on.

That’s just people being salty. They always like to say that about meta heroes. She takes plenty of skill.

His ult lowkey is OP.

So is Grav and Dragonblade.

They shouldn’t have so much weight in them. That power could be distributed into their kits instead. It’d make them more enjoyable to use too

Haven’t seen any of this myself.

I understand it, somewhat. The game is an FPS and traditionally FPS are very aim-centric. So, any hero where that’s not the case kind of feels like playing with training wheels. But cycling with training wheels up an 80 degree incline is harder than cycling without training wheels on a flat, smooth road.

Orisa has spread and projectile fire. That can actually be pretty difficult to be consistent with. Hault also has a decently high skill ceiling.

I think that’s one of the big reasons all ults are going to be slower charges. Too many games depend on an ult turning things around.

I think Reinhardt is fine where he is, and for once, I’m not being biased in that. He still gets pretty easily narrowed out if not careful

Well, the reason I heard from this streamer, was Orisa doesnt require fast reflex or thinking like Winston. She just stays put behind her shield and shoot straight.

I mean you can play any hero smart (look at Luffy on Moira in OWL) but Orisa definitely doesn’t require a brain or good aim to play well. She’s going to be spending most of her time shooting at shields anyway.

Using halt correctly and proper shield placement definitely both require a brain.

Winston and rein are huge brain heroes, leave them alone, halt on orisa and her shield make her by far the most op, and low skill

About as much as using anything Brig has.
