I started playing DPS because the hitmarkers and headshots were super satisfying! I’ve noticed that if I try to “tune out” hitmarkers and focus on my crosshair placement and aiming, my tracking drastically improves. To test this, I turned off the HUD and put tape on the middle of my screen. INSTANT INSANE AIMING AND TRACKING! TRY IT! Only problem is I cant see the killfeed, my ammo, my health, the time, my ultcharge, or all the other crucial information. This tradeoff is worth it for me, but VERY annoying. Please add an option for this. Crosshair opacity is a GREAT way to implement this. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

I mean, if it helps you I guess I can’t see a reason why it couldn’t help others. It wouldn’t hurt anybody to have the option

I want this too
Agreed, the noise of the hitmarker is enough. The visuals just get in the way.
how did you turn off the hud completely? I see many options but all are very useless like “kill feed display”, “tips display”, “display system clock” but nothing relevant like abilities, crosshair, etc etc. By what I got from your post, youmanaged to remove everything from the screen. How did you do that?

That’s not so bad. Earlier today, someone responded to a comment I made on YouTube 9 years ago.

Still wish I had the option to disable hit markers
