Let Lifeweaver be a lesson

I don’t want another repeat of Lifeweaver especially for the support role.

IMO Lifeweaver is the most disappointing hero of all time.

Myself and other support mains want new support heroes that has “skill expression” but in a way that allow us to carry games. — Read Ana, Bap, Kiriko, Zen and Lucio.

It sounds like you’re talking about DPS potential? There are plenty of options for that already.

What are the options?

Let’s be honest, if you wanted to consistently carry games you wouldn’t be a support main.

Me and other support mains want more supports that don’t focus so much on damage

Give it time we’ll both get what we want, Lifeweaver is a good addition

Speak for yourself, im bored of so many dps hybird supports already.

as a support main, he’s a great addition. he’s a healing based support with UTILITY… something that most supports with higher HPS dont have.

my only complaint is hit pull is too easy to troll teammates with

ngl bro but this is a big ‘‘every support hero should pander to DPS mains forced to play support’’ kinda opinion.

I agree we’ll both get what we want but, I don’t think LW is a good addition

Ok… You chose to play Mercy for 6 straight years. lol

Every support with the exception of Moira is a support with utility. Not only that, they also heal better than LW.

That was said about Kiriko, Bap, Ana and Zen and those are some of the most popular heroes when it comes to support players.

While I personally favor high impact and aim Supports, the main thing I hope they learn is that the most important thing for any hero is smooth and enjoyable feeling game-play.

I don’t know how on earth they set out to make a Mercy like Support and ended up with Lifeweaver’s clunky butt. It has me wondering if they geninuely have no clue why people love her and think being a heal bot is it.

But he is one of the worse supports at healing.

According to the most recent ama he’s second highest behind mercy when looking at all ranks (i know the skew this can have from lower ranks), but i also did mean he can support through utility too w his survivability with mobility as well as his life grip

I know we like to say, “Blizzard doesn’t understand their own game.” But I’m starting to think Blizzard just doesn’t care.

My point flew over both of y’alls head I see.

I thought this would be a lesson to not give new heroes more abilities then you have buttons for, not a lesson to give us more DPS supports.

True.

But that’s become something of a niche statement on these forums lately.

This. The slow charge-up on the heal, the weapon switch, shooting and healing being mutually exclusive, the platform getting stuck on ledges, platform breaking your own LoS to allies, plus the weaksauce dash and massive hitbox… A bit ironic that a hero who is supposed to be smooth and stylish doesn’t quite feel that way.
His sound design is really cool though.

I wonder what would happen if petal platform was transparent and allies could shoot/heal through it? Might be OP but man it would be handy.

I think we were due another Defensive Support in a similar Vein to Mercy. Variety is a good thing even if the hero isn’t your ideal.

He is just too advanced for ya. /s

yet I see people constantly saying supports aren’t just healers (which they are).

What are you talking about , supports have the most bloated kits in the entire overwatch and literally run the game , followed by tanks then dps , heck half the supports can decimate any dps coming their way lol
