It’s a new Italian death map with a church.
And likely be tied to an upcoming hero.
So who do we know enough about with ties to Italy and Talon.
(Hint: Currently looking a poster on the Venice map.)

Looks like an Italian death match with a church that 80% of the playerbase will never see. That’s my guess anyway
I really hope we get more Talon heroes!!! I think that’s a good guess but I wonder it it’ll be someone we already know. Looking at the Wiki most of the known Talon leaders are either already in the game or dead
That leaves Sanjay Korpal, Maximilien, Mauga, Abdul Hakim, Commander F. McManaway, Trung Le Nguyen, and that Unnamed Omnic Guy 
(at the end of Storm Rising)
Could any of these guys be tied to that map? 
So far it seems like none of them would be there unless it was something important

i googled a lot of these guys but a bunch of them have no artwork yet i guess. Abdul Hakimm, Commander F. McManaway, Trun Le Nguyen and that unnamed guy all come up as blank or some actual real life people with names close to them hah

Honestly the Venice map just didn’t make sense to me lore wise.
Unless Leonora was involved with Talon.
If She is the new hero tied to this map… gonna be updating my known OW2 hero roster to
(known 100%: Sonjorn, JQ)
(50% Leonora, Foxgirl)
(25% NS Boss)
(-5% Mauga)
Nguyen appeared in What You Left Behind, so we do have artwork for him.
Not every map has been or has to be tied with a new hero; look at Petra or Ayutthaya. Even if it did, neither Moira nor Sigma have a dedicated map yet so it’s equally likely to be the working labs of either one of those heroes. I’m convinced that this is simply a map loosely tied to Rialto, the way Black Forest is to Eichenwalde or Castillo is to Dorado. There are likely to be lore tidbits hidden throughout but unless there is new information between now and release that gives big build-up and teasers like they did alongside Kanezaka, there’s no reason to think there’s a specific new hero associated with this map.

In meaning of it it won’t be played.
I am wondering why another death match map. Why not a map for comp and quick play.
Because if they released a new Payload map, it would have to be balenced to OW2 and OWL standards.
Like making sure a box is here to block line of sight…etc…
Honestly this is just them saving work.
Which is good, because that means OW2 gets here faster.
