Legit start removing/nerfing team effecting immunties

Defense matrix. Lamp, suzu, bubble and list goes on.

dva (unless she is completely gigabuffed) cannot function without a damage mitigator, unless you want to give her a shield similar to brig or something I dont think she can work without it

you would have to make zarya a completely different hero to make her function without bubble

Its counter play to damage.
There are countless shooters out there that dont have counterplay to damage. You can play one of those if you like.

Stop trying to make every game the same. Your ego is not important.

Game did not have even half these trash at release. Stop trying to make my game in to something that it was not from the beginning? Sustain creep is ridiculous and immunties is a large part of the issue. Zarya straight up doubling her bubbles is crazy power creep. Regardless "needing redesign to fit 1-2-2 bla bla bla. Than you have the new baby suzu on top of that. Maybe we can get vanilla watch at some point without DLC heroes. Yes it would suck to lose the actual good auditions like ash, echo, sojourn, sombra and the times we had balanced maug and JQ.

Yeah, they added more stuff to the game. So of course theres new abilities.
Sustain creep? It’s a counter to burst damage. Do you really want no way to survive burst damage?

Also, its VERY TELLING your only example of good additions are pure damage characters lol.

You walk behind a shield or take cover. Give me any example of increased burst damage since vanilla watch on the OG cast. Like genji and soldier had a slight dmg increase. Mostly off set by the fact we now have more HP.

Increasing the size then reducing the spread of reapers shotguns, he two taps the 225 heroes this season.

Torb, your profile pic, has had his burst damage increased greatly and survivability all at the cost of just his turret’s damage.

Lucio is currently at his highest damage ever and can two burst most the roster if you let him skate on you.

Played a game where the enemy Reaper ulted into our team. He got bubbled, suzu’d and bubbled again lol. Must be nice to be him :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Walking behind a shield or behind cover as a reaction to damage means its NOT burst damage…you get that right?

Burst damage is when someone is killed in such a quick window, there isn’t much time to react. Which is why skillful use of the very abilties you’re complaining about can be such a game changer.

Saving someone from being bursted down, is just as much skill expression if not more than the person doing the bursting.

Been there since the beginning when the game was more popular. Fail to see how it motivates having so many immunties in the game with team radius. A lot of heroes already has their own immunity or escape ability.

You should prolly read that again. Coz you aint saying what you think you are saying here. Burst damage means a substantial amount of damage in a short time period or in the case of OW and most FPS games high dmg per shot(most cases). It does mean you will be critical in a shorter time frame, but it has nothing to do with being unable to take cover or react. You just have to be faster in most cases coz you are vulnerable. The definition does not include someone dying nor is it implied.

Yea this is not WoW. Thou arguing that pressing a key or cooldown is skill expressions is just ridiculous. In terms of CD management sure. Thing with wow is you prolly aint gonna do much burst dmg without cds hence the whole CD cycle of things. In OW you have got abilities with CDs that give burst at times yes, but you also have base shots and aiming and shooting, you know skillfull things that get denied with simple button presses. Ruining the flow of the FPS game.

Removing everything you do not like or do not know how to play against is not going to make you play any better.

It will make the game more fun when we have less sustain creep.

But it did have mass rez. Lol.

Nerfing the problem…

They seem to have this thing of “We’re not gonna nerf the problem, we’re just gonna add a broken hero into the game to counter it for us!!!”

They did it with brig and dive.

They did it with kiriko and ana.

They did it with burst damage and the immortalities / idiotic amounts of healing / sustain / aoe healing.

Was not particularly much of an issue. It got some giga buffs with made it sort out of line. Thou it was 100% a streamer issue. In pro play it was only used to rez 1-2 players when pocketing(like mercy always does). Thou streamers that mostly relied on highlight reels at the time - it was sort of the meta - had their moments ruined by mercy rez and people just feeding on purpose on ult pops regardless. Hence they took issue with it. From a win% point and balance etc. she was fine.

My man has a brain. Understands cause and effect. OG OW had a vision and good balance overview, thou the competent devs. left the when project was done.

Poke damage is the type you can react to.
Burst damage means you die in under a second…I dont know why you dont understand that.

you should play some support cus you have absolutely no idea wtf you’re talking about. Like ZERO CLUE.

Also, all your complaining is ignoring the fact that, you’re likely saved by these very abilities just as often as you’re denied kills from them. You probably dont notice cus you’re tunnel visioned but i promise you it happens more than you think.

This is a game where proper ability usage is just as important as aim. If you want it to be pure aim based go play valorant or CS or CoD or something.

Abilities matter in this game. They should have impact and significance.

Its not a problem though.
