Hello, I am recent Lefty converted and i have reconfigured my keyboard layout basically “WASD” is now " PL:" " and for some reason when i hold right CTRL i am unable to move forward with P. I will be able to crouch move backwards left or right with buttons " L:" " but not with " P ".
Can someone shed some light here as to why is that not possible? Why am i not able to crouch forward with P?
It could be related to “N-key rollover” you can learn more about it (quickly) here:

no it’s not that as i have G810 keyboard. I can press A LOT of buttons before it freezes.
I am a lefty which has always made it interesting to play any games. I don’t know what could be causing your issue, I use different bundings. I use arrow keys for movement and the numpad for my abilities with the zero as jump. I find it allows for good enough play and is great pinky excercise
This is probably a Windows issue.
Lol! I thought I was the only one. I use Rcontrol for crouch.
Lefties rule
I also use right control to crouch.
Melee is of course bound to mouse wheel down
maybe you can use the mouse with your right and the keyboard with your left…?
YOu´ll eventually get used to it and its way more confortable bc u wont have to change key bindings
If they’s always had it this way that’s like asking a righty to write with their left hand. You can’t just relearn how to aim precisely. It would be months of relearning.
well dunno i have never tried the mouse with my left…I was just asking if he could do it…
isnt there keyboards for lefties arround?
If there are it’s not likely there are many (if any) from big brands that make the really nice keyboards. I think it’s still something to do with N-key rollover and the right-hand side of the board just isn’t designed like the left-hand side is. It’s also likely a Windows issue
I can verify that it is very difficult to use a mouse in the non dominant hand. I can manage to do it for my job because our computer station is not set up to allow a mouse on the left hand side. After three years of working I have been able to use it well enough to fill out electronic forms. It is still way more difficult than with my left, having to use that hand to aim would be a horrible experience.
Then again I am a symmetra main, so I guess I could mouse with my right hand. I can hold m1 with any hand
