20 minutes for leaving 4 games out of 20? when you can’t get your hackers under control? why should we have to sit through a match when someone has an autodefence mod, or some rediculous aim bot… dealing with the bologna match-ups isn’t punishment enough? my partner got banned for 20 minutes making our entire party of people unable to play… thats outrageous especially when we only play 1-2 games a day at most, thats 4 games over two weeks…

Key strokes. Kills the game process. Effectively leaves, avoiding penalties in unranked. Won’t work in Ranked, and I suspect they’ll address that gap soon.
How is it to high? I mean if you dont leave… then you wont get penalty.

I really find it amusing how somebody lowers the enjoyment of 40 people, then complains that it can’t be much higher than that.
But that their enjoyment/time is sacred.
And that people on the forums are supposed to feel sympathy for selfish and anti-social behavior.

Overwatch is actually really leiniant compared to most games. Most only give you 1 freebie leave if you lucky, and scaling penalties.
Being able to leave 4 and only get a 20 min is not too high at all.
In dota (before they changed it to a low priority system) leaving 4 games would be a 8 hour ban if I recall.

how comes i never see these hackers? unless i get called out for hacking which sometimes happens and i am not even joking. calling me a aimbot abuser for landing 2 shots on people walking a straight line at me.
how do you guys leave so much? do you only play 1 map?
sounds like if i was playing wow and only do 1 thing in the game and nothing else and i complain about no content. (dumb)

I didn’t even imply that I leave games? I’ve never had a 4 hour penalty. So I had no idea why they responded to me with that. If they wanted to say it to the OP, fine.

I agree with you about the punishment being too strict, but I’m not so sure I would brag about this ‘harmless’ behavior of your partner. or use it as an example for why the punishment is too strict…

I think by ‘hackers’ this person has encountered smurfs at their SR… When I see the word ‘hacker’ or ‘aim bot’ I assume this person doesn’t fully grasp the meaning of ‘anyone can make an account with an e-mail address for free now…’ change with the model shift OW1-OW2. Smurfs were always around then, but now… its like night and day sometimes with the matchmaking…
