I cannot speak for anyone else but for me, personally, everything good about Overwatch has died. The only thing left I loved was Total Mayhem which, clearly, no one cares about. There is STILL no Blizzard World on the regular rotation because there is some sort of “Map Not Found” bug STILL in the code that no one cares to fix. On top of that, it is RARELY on the arcade rotation. This week you have the Petra map and 2 ELIMINATION games. Yawn. Plus the worst game mode you have ever had (and refuse to remove) Mystery Heroes. Competitive still sucks so I am finally done with Overwatch. I checked in to see if Total Mayhem was on the weekly but nope.
Last week I finally bit the bullet and tried Fortnite Battle Royale. It is kind of difficult (I have yet to win) but I am enjoying it more than OW (except TM).
I don’t think this post will change anything (none of my other posts have made a difference) but I thought I would at least leave this “Dear John (Jeff) letter” so you understood where, specifically, you lost this customer. Good luck in the future.
It’s clear that most of your opinions differ with the majority of the community, and if you wish to venture off to other titles then so be it, though judging from your level we should expect to see you back soon after any new hero or map releases.
K. So I appreciate the update with the Find a Group function but you can still put Total Mayhem in the rotation. You have had 3v3 on the daily TWICE this week and it is already a competitive mode in a LOOOOONG tournament. Please! C’mon!
Im Kinda in the same boat, When Overwatch launched, base game was new and exciting for a good while. Then they added Hero Limit, which was kinda upsetting, but I got over it, Then they nerfed Ultimates across the board, Then they started Nerf hammering Everything, Then it turned into a base game I don’t enjoy anymore. I literally cannot stomach Base game Health/dmg Ratio in the current state of Overwatch, Too much dmg for such little health.
Idk, Moral of the story really is that once you play Mayhem for a while its like impossible to go back to base game. Mayhem, You really have to “Teamwork” to kill things, It’s almost forced, or you’re not leaving spawn. It’s hectic, Its madness. Overtimes are Amazing, You get great Xp, It’s my Home.
When it’s not in Arcade in don’t play Overwatch. It sucks when they take it away.
It needs to be there permanently, Next to Mystery.
OMG! The daily just changed and they give us Low Gravity (THE WORST!) I like No Limits but they had it all last week and then it was the first day of the daily rotation this week. No total mayhem in over a week. I am pretty sure they don’t like Total Mayhem because it maybe creates back habits but I am pretty irritated. It takes a bit of adjustment to go back to the base game, yeah, but the base game sucks anyway. I liked the changes to the Find A Group but I am getting over that, too. I am going to put my Xbox game disc for sale on Kijiji.
I hope it rotates back soon. The other arcades are pretty dull. TM doesn’t get enough time on the arcade board.
