Is this new? I thought in Arcade mode we could come and go as we needed… I thought that was the entire point of having a fun stress free mode?

i haven’t gotten a leaver penalty in arcade yet, which game mode were you playing?
Are you by chance playing mystery heroes? I wonder if they moved it to arcade but forgot to remove the penalties so it still behaves as an unranked mode.
Its a bug pretty sure, you get the warning but never the actual penalty. If they enforced penalties into arcade then Total Mayhem would be a death sentence. I’ve left plenty of total mayhem games for how long they are and never got penalized.
I was playing Mystery Heroes and I got the warning and after I left I definitely got a couple minute penalty. Which in itself was odd because it was my very first match since yesterday.

Thats weird then, with how lazy devs are they probably just moved the QP version into arcade and slapped arcade on it. But I know for sure I never got penalized in total mayhem.

Remember it keeps track of all the games so if you have left or been dc’d from one other game in the last 20 you have played regardless of if that game was yesterday or a year ago, you still get dinged for the penalty counter. I usually get dc’d from OW at least once a day. No clue why. Internet is otherwise stable and I have no issues with anything else BUT OW but that dings me for a penalty if I am in a game even though I now ONLY play Arcade since original MH moved there. One of the reasons I now only play Arcade is because of the penalty (I used to almost always play Assault Maps). Now I have no where to go. Just have to hope I don’t get DC’d at just the wrong times.
Leaver penalty in Arcade is one of the stupidest things the devs have done. Again, the great arbiters of “fun” strike again.
