It’s still insane.
I only leave unwinnable stomps. “kobol ur evil ur going to hell for leaving” ok, I don’t feel like sitting through an unwinnable match where nothing I do matters and if I stayed in spawn there would be literally no difference.
There’s no point, it’s not fun, it sucks and I get absolutely nothing from it. I play video games to have fun, not to suffer and torture myself. There’s a reason I will never touch any Souls game.
It doesn’t even effect the other people on my team for me to leave because they were all going to lose along with me anyway, so the argument of “ur ruining the match for 4 other people you evil selfish person!” doesn’t work. Whoever backfills also has a chance of being much better than me and turning it around where I literally can’t.
Unfortunately unwinnable stomps are VERY frequent in QP.
Yesterday I got several unwinnable stomps in a row and matches where my teammates were literally just flat out throwing, left them all. Racked up the 10 minute penalty pretty fast.
Got on today and oh boy, first match of the day is… another unwinnable stomp! Yay! I’m tank. Enemy Hog is receiving massive amounts of healing, while I’m getting nothing because both supports would rather dps, and they have an Ana who keeps throwing anti on me. I literally can’t do anything.
So I leave.
2 HOUR suspension.
Jesus christ.
Immediately I don’t want to play the rest of the day.
But if I get on tomorrow and my first match once again is an unwinnable stomp and I leave, I’ll get a TWO DAY suspension from every single mode in the game except training range.
For leaving the mode that has almost NO matchmaking.
They need to fix the matchmaker if they’re going to have the penalty this harsh, it’s ridiculous.
In what world do the devs think it’s okay for the matchmaker to be this horrendously AWFUL and to severely punish anyone who doesn’t want to sit through the gaming equivalent of a bunch of bullies beating you up and shoving you in a locker?
