Leaver Before Match: Just Find Another?

How long could it take to find one single replacement for a leaver before the match starts?

Are we that worried it will compromise the match quality if people get that little extra time to prepare? These aren’t pro matches. Just some people trying to play a game and enjoy it.

I could see if queue times were short, it wouldn’t matter. But i just had 2 of 3 games cancel due to leavers in the first seconds of the match. 8 minute queues. What kind of video game allows this?

Can we just create a system that finds a single player of about the same MMR (or god forbid, simply go by SR) ?!?

I like this idea. 10/10 let’s make it happen. Someone call Papa Jeff. I’ve had ideas on this but it focuses more on the penalties side of things

It takes time because they aren’t just looking for any replacement. They have to make sure it’s another leaver/troll/thrower/noob to handicap the game as planned.

Because he is in charge and hence responsible for his dev team.
