Tested checking the box to leave as group, as well as leaving it unchecked but leaving as group is not working.

Can confirm. Just tested it too.
Was in a comp stadium match. When it was over, the leader had it selected but just he was removed back to the menu.
We then could not invite him back because it said he’s in another group. We left the group individually and it said the same for all of us.
We all went individually into practice range and it appeares to clear whatever group ID we were stuck to.
I invited each member to a party successfully. Once in the party, I went to leave practice range as group and it just removed me.
Repeating the process seemed like a good workaround if ppl get stuck in a phantom group.

Yup. Same. However, you can invite via the chat, but that’s really annoying for a group more than 2

It’s still not working. It’s annoying becuase we are playing in duo a lot lately.

Same here. We also have the problem that everybody has to leave the group and we need to reform, because people can’t just join the group again, since the game is telling us, that there are different game versions and we have to restart the game…

I’m playing with my best friends we are a 6 member group tryna play open comp, its so annoying. Please blizzaaaard how long does it take to fix bugs when people complain about it so badllllly

It’s so frustrating that their supposed “fix” doesn’t work.
This was happening all night last night. Even when checked, leave as group did not work. We were forced to watch every single PoTG. It was the worst.
Still happening. I literally waited for the popup, ENSURED the box was checked, and then immediately got “You have left the group” when I confirmed. Had to wait for my partner to leave and add her back. Very annoying when we’re playing with her sons too, as they only have a limited time to play and wasting it watching some inane POTG, or having to all individually leave and regroup is a waste of our valuable time.
