There are talks of having cross-progression/inventory but the development team have identified key business and technological hurdles to overcome first.

Unfortunately, you have to start a new account. We keep exploring ways of unifying accounts across platforms but it is challenging from a technical and partnership standpoint. We will keep exploring though.

we really like the idea of cross-persistence. it’s something we would love to see for overwatch. the technical and business hurdles are immense but we are very passionate about trying to make something like this happen someday.
