LC 208 after account merge

Hello! I have been experiencing the LC 208 error after merging my accounts to BattleNet. The said accounts are PSN Serrota_, Xbox ArcadusAssassin, connected to my PC account BattleNet Serrota#2592. I am now on a PS5 if that makes any difference.

Prior to merging my Xbox account to my playstation one/pc one, everything was working fine. I got into the account merge and entered the queue for a couple of days, but then started getting the login error LC-208.001. I have tried every solution, including seeing if it was my network connection, but I am 100% sure at this point that it is an account specific problem; I tried making another battle net account to see if it was something that could’ve been on my end, but I was able to login to the game on a different battle net account with the same network.

I also tried logging in on a PC, which didn’t work either and sent me into a log in loop. It must be a problem with my account or the merge causing the error for whatever reason. I filed a ticket on the BattleNet support and the Better Business Bureau but it has not been resolved after almost a month now. All they have said is that the issue has been ‘escalated’ and there is no ETA for when it will be fixed, which I do not find the most reassuring.

I played and have supported Overwatch 1 since launch on my xbox account, the same with my other accounts. Even when unlinking my accounts, I cannot access the game and receive the same code. I would really like for this issue to be resolved because of the amount of time and money I have spent… I have bought the game at 60 dollars 3 times before it was free (PC, xbox and PS4), combined with purchased cosmetics, some of which were limited time and I can’t get back even if I wanted to. I am not even able to access the game, and this is worsened by the additional concern that I have lost all my years of cosmetics, progress and money… it is pretty upsetting :(. Especially with the new season coming I want to buy the battle pass but I’d much rather do that on my main account, rather than the account I have now which has nothing. But I’m not even sure I will be able to get my main account back ever.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has been experiencing this still, or if Blizzard is working on fixing this? Are all my progress and cosmetics completely gone? Most of the posts I see regarding this are from 1-2 years ago, and the issue did not resolve for me after the most recent update or patches. Please let me know what can be done, or if this is being worked on in any shape or form!!
