Like holy latency Batman, ping is up past 70 in Orlando making IND stay in the 25+ range. What’s the deal? Like are y’ll overloaded? Maybe it’s time to open that Washington server back up?

I’m a bit south from you, but that’s around the same latency I see. Keep in mind they combine the ping and RTT into one metric they call LAT. So your latency is actually about 55ms (or 15 less than the displayed LAT stat), which is expected to the Chicago server from Orlando. Sometimes my ping goes into the 80ms range. Blizzard staff mentioned that they consider anything below 100ms as completely playable.

Yeah im experiencing the same, just here in EU. After the quicker play launch im getting the ‘double’ latency of what i used to get. like 75-90 avg. with spikes up to 200-300ms. Almost unplayable

I’m having the same issue on the east coast as well. My ping was always 30-40 and now it is 80-90 ping. Looks like I will just play Fortnite or Dragheir.

It’s random too. The day after I posted this my first two matches were in the 40s, and then the next ones jumped into the double latency with the stability symbol. Nothing changed on my end, no programs using the network, no other item on the network using bandwidth, I don’t get the rise other than server stability or server routing changes.
Next time the pros play let them play on 100 ping if BLIZZARD thinks that its fun to run that high. SMH
Can we get a US East sever? I can’t stand this lag anymore. I get spikes up to 250ms.

I have the same problem, I’m on Mexico city and always have like 60 ping but sometimes (especially at night) I have spikes like 200+ ping
How can we resolve this?
Does it get worse at specific times? I find that late at night it gets much worse. EU UK
I have also been getting nonstop lag for the last couple of days. The desync i s making the game unplayable.
ya something is going on weird. Just had a qp game where both sides said they were lagging then on the last fight before our last engagement i get dced… and bam 20min ban… yet the rest of my net was doing wonderfully, the servers are not so hot or something
Overwatch has been switching servers to low-grade servers across the globe since the merger announcement. We give them money and they give us a worse gaming experience. I’ve been waiting for it to happen in the USA. I guess that time is now. Don’t buy anything from the shop. If everyone stopped buying they’ll either give us what we want, which isn’t a new OWL, or lose their profit.

My ping from the Southeast to the Chicago server has remained the same since the first day I played Overwatch 1 beta. However, if you’re someone connecting to the West coast server, it was relocated from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
