At the start of the year I bought a new PC, so I can run my games much more smoothly, such as Overwatch. And for the first two months, it was running very smoothly with no issues, but just a few weeks ago, the connection I was getting while playing the game was terrible with latency and IND spikes, ranging from 120 range to 1000 and lasting every couple of minutes or the whole time I have the game running . I tried to find some solutions to no luck in solving it. I also tried playing other online games with them running very smoothly.
I would appreciate some help solving this problem I am having and I’m sorry if I don’t answer immediately. Thank you for your time.
It’s possible that something on your home network, or one of the hops between you and Blizzard, is causing this issue. Can you post a WinMTR report in your reply so we can look over the connection?
Here’s what I got:
“Sent = 626, Recv = 626, Best = 1, Avrg = 7, Wrst = 184, Last = 5”

Alright so, I managed to finally get in contact with my Broadband provider and managed to sort out the problem I was having. Sorry for wasting your time and very much appreciate your efforts in helping me, the idiot that i am.

Yeah im having the same issue too. I wonder if blizzard changed something on their end that affects the packet shaping.
