Lastly tonight: pointing out there is a chance Fox girl's Mom is also a hero

From what we already know there were 4 silhouettes in that “leak” last year.

  1. was basically a ninja with a fox… aka Fox Girl
  2. Priest/ maybe Voodoo doctor with a staff… (unimportant info right now)
  3. “female”
  4. “female”

Basically the source who made the leak… didn’t know anything Overwatch and was little too interested in Fox Girl over the others.

Which why it was Credited so low all last year.

But I did look back at his tweets around it.

And he did confirm that 3 and 4 did not look like Sojourn or Echo.

Making a Window of possibility.

So there is a small chance that Asa is a hero…

Aka Sword-smith Mom.

(Honestly I think we are likely going to get more lore this week, saying she died on “patrol” when Cherry Blossoms bloomed last year… But hey just highlighting this possibility.)

Hmmm, not sure. It might be kind of redundant to have a Mom and Daughter who are both trained swordfighters and worship/channel the Fox and Kitsune spirit. Hard to create distinct and unique personas/kits when they both have the same theme.

Genji and Hanzo works because they are supposed to be mirrors of eachother as brother dragons locked in conflict. They also came from a singular hero concept that was split into two so it makes sense.

A big reason that Ana and Pharah works is that both are very distinct, both in personality but mainly in skillset. Ana is a renowned tactical sniper, Pharah is a flying security guard with an explosive rocket launcher.
