Has anyone encountered this problem yet? Why waste your time killing bots when the mission would end when you land on the drop-ship?
Well they might hope that there is something else to explore or to get. I don’t know.
For me it just happened with players who didn’t know that the dropship was the end (mostly people playing it the first time).
I think a few days later people will stop trying to get more kills instead of finishing the mission.

Yeah. Most of the games are turning out that way it seems. Whenever they hear the sound of the enemies. They immediately go after the enemies and then get overwhelmed. Just close to passing the mission and this happens.
This is similar to GTAO heist. I don’t think Blizzard can do anything about it.
I did this by accident my first time playing. I felt pretty bad when we lost. This isn’t like Halloween where you fight till you all die ha.

Blizzard can make it so the game ends the second anyone sets foot on the drop ship, or just make it end when it… you know… ends.
There is absolutely no reason for individual player participation in the conclusion of a match.

I then learned that you should not do this as we all got slaughtered
This hasn’t occurred in my retribution games (I’ve only played five). I know that there are several people in Overwatch who would troll on purpose, but some people are confused by this game mode and are not trolling, but simply trying to complete the mission the wrong way.
