my internet is not having any problems, 100mb/up and down
only when i play in OW do i basically jump around, for example i’ve killed myself several times as ball when i am rolling around, i get a lag spike and i watch my kill cam and just roll straight off of the map.
it has been happening the last couple of days.
Experiencing the same, random lag spikes. No other game does this to me and it’s ruining the game for me honestly.
same here its been going on since mid december 2019 and nobody can tell me how to fix it or why it even is happening… nice game really
same here, the orange icons keeps poppin on my screen and then there is a exclamation red warning below them losing the connection like 2 secs then comes back
it just happened 3-4 times within 5 minutes of waiting in queue during custom games.
i’ve done the whole ipconfig /release /renew /flushdns
reset my internet modem/router
i dont know what else i can do
i can’t play comp or even QP like this without it looking like im throwing.
the red connection icon pops up more and more,
the constant circle with lightning and the 3 layered square thing.
any suggestions?
Same problem for the past few weeks. Random high lag spikes. WinMRT showing dropped packets to OW IP address when it happens. Is this a Blizzard issue or a my issue? If it’s Blizzard then so be it. If it’s me or my ISP I want to try and resolve.
I can read WinMTR results.
Same here, as long im using my logitech headphones im screwed and big spikes, when i switch to my TV sound, its ok…
This sounds like packet loss. Please include your WinMTR with connection-related threads.

All games will use different routes from your home to their servers, because they are hosted in different cities.
I don’t see any troubleshooting threads from the account you’re posting on. If you create a new thread with your WinMTR, someone can help you. Simply stating you’re lagging isn’t enough info to even guess what’s happening.
Start a new thread with a WinMTR for staff/community to look over.
Can’t answer this without looking at the WinMTR results. Start a new thread with them.
This does not sound like a connection problem, like others are discussing. Instead, this sounds like a driver problem with your headphones interacting with the game.
A post was split to a new topic: Shockashn - Latency Spikes
Found this forum cause I was having the same issue lag in OverWatch and only OverWatch . Then thanks to Alakhai’s post about his Logitech headphones got me thinking that I just bought a new Logitech wireless mouse. So I started looking at G hub which is their new app for setting your mouse and I’m sure other wireless devices. It 100% was the issue. Which means its both on Logitech and Blizzards end on them not working good together. Make sure that when you close the app also go in to your processes and end all related processes which were 7 in my case. The last problem I had is the G hub updater kept starting back up in the processes about 5 sec after closing. I ended up having to open both my processes and file at the same time to end the process and then delete the updater file. Only after doing all these steps I have seen zero lag in over 30 or so games. I know this wont be a solution for all but hope it helps some.
