Lack of useful voice commands

So IM Married and got kids and yelling late at is a major NoNo. Which means ranked overwatch is a poor experience. I believe There is a real lack of voice commands to use in game. Basically spaming group up with me is stupid yet the sole effective coms you have… why isnt there a possibility to add:
”Go go go”
”Fall back”
”attack #enemycharacterinmycrosshair

I actually was thinking of this the other day, my microphone broke and i was trying to let my team know that reaper was about to ult right on their heads, playing phara i decided to go with shooting at reaper in the vain hope i was going to hit him and spam the “ult charge line”… fast forward a few seconds, no one understood, reaper got 3 out of 5 and all i managed to do to help was push him off the remaining two.

so i think a character identifier would be cool, like “reaper there” “watch for the tracer” “pharah in bound”
I dunno, not very good of a writer, but i think i got my point across

Paladins has a fantastic VGS system that I wish Overwatch adopted…

Literally so good, you don’t even need a mic. “Flank Left/Middle/Right”, “Help needed at LeftFlank/Behind/RightFlank!”, “Attack Left/Middle/Right”, “FallBack”, “Hold Your Ult”,… It’s massive… and amazing.

too busy sjw pandering and recycling events to do useful practical stuff like this.
why no useful communication emotes.
why is there no voice activation for your mic.
why is there no voice changer built in so younger players and females can use voice without being harrassed.

I mean I think the commands are pretty useless as is beyond group up and need healing. having too many would really clog the dashboard and mics are so much better. Plus each command means every character has to record that voice command so it’s a bit more work than folks think beyond just the raw coding of the command.

Wow look a simple brilliant idea, that’s actually easy to do, but the devs are too conceded to actually realize these are the simple fixes that work.

in theory, it is… in practice, it sucks when you’re in regions with language barriers (and in SEAS case, its more of more players refusing to even speak english).

They can literally just get Athena’s VA to do all that.

Language barriers/need to be quiet In understand but if given the option mics are way better barring the heal command as it tells the support where you are. And if you listen all of the voice commands are currently done by the individual hero. Adding a few is a significant amount of voice acting, recording, etc to add in. Impossible? Of course not but neither is it effortless.

So, what you’re saying is, leave it as is which already makes it hard for everyone, right?

And honestly, the game’s in a state where its already very hard to love for what it is and can be, so adding something like a few more voice commands helps (every little bit helps). Nothing’s effortless, nothing’s objectively perfect, but adding in things like a few more voice commands that even a significantly smaller company can do for a game that’s basically F2P Overwatch minus hero-swapping mid-game plus a card system helps out alot. If HiRez can do that, why not Blizzard? And HiRez is obviously a smaller company than Blizzard.
