Knock back logic

Anyone notice when Reinhardt gets knocked back he goes flying like a rocket especially during his charge sometimes he goes flying into another zip code but other characters like Tracer barely move. Or maybe its just me

Seems random to me. Sometimes I hit someone with a Lucio RMB or Brigitte Shift and they move a single centimeter while other times they go flying .-.

Distance has a lot to do with your angle/speed vs their angle/speed. If a rein is charging away from you then he goes really far, if a Tracer is running straight at you she will barely move.

Coming from a person who plays a lot Junkrat. It hilarious to see Rats mine send a fully armor guy into the air when alhonesty that shouldn’t be happening lol :joy: The flying Rein

Basically they maintain their momentum, so a charging Rein gets redirected but keeps his charge speed. Running/jumping affect this as well.

Once when I had picked up quite a bit of speed coming off a wall ride as Lucio I got blasted by the enemy (false god) Lucio and I might as well have opened my own airline at that point.
