Anyone else feel Kiriko’s ult can make things more difficult? Mainly aiming for me. If I’m playing a precision character like Ana or Ashe the sudden increased fire rate just sprays all over.
Yeah if I’m playing Mei hardly any of my shots will land it completely throws me off. Obviously if I was playing hitscan it would be really useful.
I think it’s something you’ll just have to get used to. And maybe take it into consideration when choosing your hero for the match.
I struggle with hitscan just as much during her ult.
Its definetly something ya gotta get used to, hopefully though imo they nerf it a bit and it wouldnt be so jarring.
Maybe they could make it so that moving during Kitsune Rush increases your fire rate.
That way stationary heroes like Ashe and Widow can adjust their pace.
That gets even more jarring, i’d rather not, i’d rather if:
I literally melted a Orissa with rush as ana stay back and shoot, non scope works really well.
This, while I’m starting to get used to Kiriko’s kunai, once I ultimate my accuracy goes down the toilet as I don’t have nearly as much muscle memory like I do without it. This will change over time though as people get more used to it.
Yeah that fire rate would certainly be alot better.
I’m not surprised. But hitting teammates or enemy dps is way harder than Orisa. Even Junker Queen is giving me problems during KR.
That and cooldown reduction are its more problematic factors i think, it makes Winston’s bubbles almost infinite.
I think the biggest issue is that it’s too confined, and visually obscuring.
It creates more confusion and chaos than it benefits in the heat of the moment.
The visuals only affect me when I’m on the same team for some reason. If I see an enemy Kiriko ult I hardly notice it. But when it’s on my team it can definitely be hard to focus.
It might just be the bright blue.
It can be a little over-exhilerating. BUT…
Lobbing an amount of shots that’d make Touhou blush as Junkrat is incredibly satisfying.
Does lucios ampd crossfade mess you up? Cuz its faster movement then kitsune if im not mistaken.
His crossfade normal is ither a 25 or 30 percent boost… when he amps that it goes to 60.
Kitsune is 50%. (Tho it also speeds up fire rate and reload)
If you play as or with lucio more you may have more oppurtunities to get adjusted to movement speed switches…
I can see how faster fire rate, tather than movent speed may throw some heroes off… but u get faster reloads too so more oppurtunies to land the shots.
It could also be all the traffic throwing people off… it can feel a little jarring with everyone running and fireing in the same line. But i think both the fire rate and traffic is something that can be overcome with time and practice.
If you have to stand toward the back like an ana on a few and just get a feel for fire rate and recoil a few times- that might help? Then once u have a feel for that diff- start running thru it.
Maybe its jus cuz im use to the extra speed and quick rushes and keeping aim while flying around some walls… but i love her ult. I think itll jus take time to get used to for other hero mains.
Lol im the opposite. All the red for an enemies messes with me.
The blue dosnt bother me at all.
It’s the faster movement speed paired with the faster fire rate.
I think itll come with time. Its only been what- 3 weeks?
Maybe get some friends together and do a custom game where she has ult constantly… just have them throw kitsune again and again and practice it on some bots.
It’s definitely an ult that needs communication, but i still like it to be honest. I just wish it had a better visual on where the zone is. Sometimes it still feels active when I’m away from that kitsune zone.
every hero is hard to aim with if youre in kirikos ult… its also harder to hit the enemy when theyre in their own ult as well.
rein and hitscans have been the best for me to try and track with the increase speed, but its still hard.
