Kiriko is dead in stadium after July Clone Nerf

After the latest round of clone nerfs, 65% less healing and damage, Kiriko has no good builds left. Healing build is too weak (moria orbs, ash fire etc 30% healing debuff constantly), and suzu build you can’t use it often enough to save your team.
Don’t say damage build is the same as healing, Kiriko doesn’t scale as well as the Dps. Try to backline assassinate a fully stacked AP 76 rocket build. If you put everything into WP and nothing in Defense, 76 will one shot you easy.

TLDR: Kiriko needs massive buffs to her stadium cash gain in order to scale better.
I tried Moria, easy over 10,000 cash every round, Kiriko lucky to get 9000 usually around 7000 to 8000.

Maybe you got boosted by an op build into a rank where you can’t perform

but why can he still dominate on moira? just a goat player right? but boosted if he plays kiri.

more jokes at 9

Stadium is full of OP builds, Kiriko clone was her only OP build. Stadium is all about OP builds, you either build OP or lose the game.
Do you even play stadium? 76 rocket build with full ap will one shot you unless you buy full survival items or a tank.
Moria orb build is OP, constant 30% heal debuff along with constant 20% slow.

Also, d.va is not playable right now without Tokki Slam. It’s a huge throw pick

yes, every hero has an OP build but NONE had an oppressive build as the kiri clone build which dominated ANY lobby.

the changes are perfect and kiri clone is still strong, the difference is that u cant rely on your clone killing the backline of the enemy team without looking at them which is a good thing.

So glad all the goofs using the broken Kiri build are falling back to ranks they belong instead of being carried by an AI. There’s plenty of other strong Kiri builds btw, well I mean if you can aim

I’m climbing just fine on Moria. “if you can aim” excuse, if you can aim why play Kiriko, better to play ana with head shot, or zen with 8 orbs.
How about “if you could aim” you would hit the Kiriko and force the clone to heal instead of damage.

So it’s OK for 76 to kill the back line from across the map? At least the Kiriko had to get in close to be effective.

kiri has awesome builds (damage and heals) - they are at least as strong as moira.

i dont get it why we should accept a 6v5 game where you are FORCED to pick the same build/hero to make it 6v6 (= kiri clone pre-nerf) .

it was massively oppressive which dealt headshots with AIMBOT at 65% weapon damage and 30+% attackspeed (1:1 stats from the player…) and which was spawned every 5 seconds and lived almost for the same amount dealing tons of damage and outputting massive heals.

a good player (we saw it in the asia stadium playoffs) on that build literally murdered almost everytime 2-3 players ALONE. and vs not so good players, the good player on that build could almost literally 1v5 the enemy team. who on earth wants that back and more important why? you were literally FORCED to play kiri as support to even out the advantage of the clone and if you didnt it was most likely (~70%+) a loss if the enemy had a kiri clone build.

From where to where.

Are you climbing because of good plays, or that Moira is a safety net for you that helps I compensate for other lacking mechanics.

Just being able to climb on a hero isn’t the sign you think it is.

I took an account from gold to GM just abusing OG Brig. Doesn’t mean I was good. Just means that hero was ridiculous.

you need a time out. go outside please.

I’m climbing from Pro to Allstar. Moria playstyle, survive, heal and keep debuffs going is much easier than Assassin Kiriko. Also since you can focus everything on one power (AP) it’s very easy to secure kills and make so much stadium cash farming stats. I will admit I don’t have the best aim, hence was stuck between Allstar 3 and 2.

As for the person that thinks the clone “headshot” it does not aim for the head any more than a torb turret, so zero headshots from the clone. Go and test on the stadium range.

Oh stadium.

I’ll tap out. That game looks like hot garbage to me.

I played 3 games with kirio today, here are stats:

I think she is in a decent place right now (i can share my build if you want)

nah don’t see why. and we should stay on topic.

Kiriko is fine, it filtered the bad ones that relied too heavily on clones. Mostly impacted those who can aim with game sense and those who can’t.

I think clone is still ok, but Kiri needs a cash buff, it is seriously ridiculous. I have played mercy and watched my scaling having even more healing, damage and kills and have 2k less cash per round, it is so hard to do anything with it. I know they nerfed her cash a while back and Im hoping they give her some back, because it is painful

I agree that Kiriko needs the cash nerf reverted. Getting large amounts of cash after round 1 creates a massive snow ball effect.
Watch some games that go to round 7, look at the Kiriko total cash compared to Moria or Mercy. I’ve seen Moria with about 80000.

At this point the need to make a viable AP build for Kiriko, which is easy. Just change two-zu to five-su or two-zu also makes Suzu a 7 second CD.

No shes not but you def cant keep using the same builds we used to you will have to adjust them a bit for more defense until round 4ish then you can somewhat swap to her older builds i still prefer exploding kunais tho for dmg and use clones for heals more or less. it just really depends on what im facing if theres a soldier or rein clones dont really work too well. shes still better then anna or zen at least.

Blizz at least fixed one of the issues I’ve been complaining about, the clone finally gives you stadium credits for it’s healing and damage. Now the issue with the clone is that it has about 50 to 75 HP and it’s HP doesn’t scale with AP or any other stat. For the clone to survive Kiriko must pick the overhealth on Tp ability.
