If Sym can be younger than Sombra (30 and 32) then Kiri totally could have been 27.
Sym is also a year younger than LifeWeaver btw.
Actually, that particular origin story is from universe #524, an universe where Kiriko’s age is not that different from Genji’s , and our OW universe is #161, that’s why the age doesn’t make sense to you

because they retcon ages randomly.
mercy originally was spoken about as if she was 50-60 years old (and as an OG member of the team) but they later retconed it that she was infact not hired after years of being a big time surgeon but instead as a child prodigy
so now her age is 39 and apperently shes been friends with torb since she was 14 even though she was supposed of been hired (in the new retcon) at like 17

Whoever is in charge of writing the new story and developing the characters further is doing an awful job at it

lore is kind of messed up. there is that old picture on ana’s wiki page of the old overwatch gang in a photo together with pharah looking like 10 and mercy looking like 20, also mccree looks like hes in his 20s. while pharah is only 4 or 5 years younger not 10… forgot the age difference
i dont care that much. they should just retcon some stuff. i see that in so many world building games, movies and anything lore related. lords of the rings… etc

To be fair Overwatch’s story isn’t the selling point of this game. How many people actually know any of it within in-game community? All I remember is robots are bad and that you can play as a terrorist.

seems like they extended everyone’s age by 2 years
so i guess its 2 years from overwatch 1… or 2 years have passed?

I refuse to believe Genji himself is a day older than 15 in that shot. Like I don’t get it.
fair but that makes it worse thats a 16 year age gap for genji and kiriko when she was 4 he was 20!

i just find it wierd that 2 years have passed but for us its like 8 years… ana should retire by now. same with rein 
I used to be pretty invested when I was still actively playing but I guess there’s no point in that anymore either cause everything is getting retconned and they’re leaving plotholes everywhere
