Why is the respawn location so far back for Defense in Kings Row?
Its almost pointless to bother on trying to defend, when your so far back. The opposing team can get 3/4 of the way through the 2nd checkpoint more or less unimpeded.
I cant see the logic in the re-spawn location. If there is a reason that I am not seeing, throw it at me, but it just seems completely off.
It’s the same for the attackers by the time they reach the gate, you should be able to hold it just fine. King’s Row is one of their best designed maps.
You think THAT’S bad!? You should see Numbani. It’s like that…but with longer sightlines.
I find it’s not bad to get back to King’s Row on 2nd unless you get hard staggered.

Absolutely on the design; its my favorite. Their re-spawn should go back to where it was before (half way into the 2nd check point)
Yeah, if the team you are facing is good, your out of luck, and at the point luck is just what you need.
That would favor defenders too much though, the walk to the entrance of the checkpoint is shorter for defenders than attackers so as long as you can stop it in that turn before it reaches it you should have a spawn advantage for a decent while.
Yeah, I suppose at that point it all depends on the makeup of your team and the teams ability to change characters to suite the needs of stopping the opposition.
Numbani and Kings Row were the two maps where ult teleporter did it’s job.

The whole taking away of the teleporter is another change that I dont care for… yes… sigh…
It’s a shame really. Anything that brings your team back to the fight quicker gets removed (mass rez, teleporter).
Yeah, but has this issue been brought up to Blizz in a way that they recognize that this is not favored by the players.
I never saw any complaints about it being there prior too, so why change it?
This is what got me disappointed.
TP could’ve been perfectly fine if they allow Sym to rebuild the charges by dealing damage.
Shield gen was mostly fine, I just think a small range increase would’ve been nice. Or at least remove shield gen but allow her to give +50 shields to allies around her.
I like that idea with the +50 shields for the allies…
We just need enough complaints and they’ll listen, which will take time… hopefully
I honestly don’t think they’d want to rework her a third time.
But it’s typical Blizz to jump to conclusions and completely change a character instead of work to fix their current state.
