Kill cam bug/cheat - Widow noscope 1-shots

Recently played a game where in the POTG and the kill cam, Widow’s gun was not scoped in during headshots.

I’m filing this under bugs, but I suppose it could be technically a cheat at work too (aim looks alright to me, but I’m not knowledgeable of how “convincing” aimbots can look these days). Needless to say, have censored the involved’s tag but have it saved if need be.

Edit (hopefully this doesn’t bump, just for the record in case someone stumbles across this): this happened to one of my POTGs a week ago. It’s a bug that’s still present in the game. 2018/12/19

this is a bug, no cheat. ive seen it a bunch. she is scoping but it doesn’t show it on the kill cam.

That was my best guess too, given my limited knowledge. Interesting to hear it’s come up multiple times for you; I’ve only ever seen this the once.

Bug still there. Watched it from the widows pov… sat in spawn for a bit smg-ing the cacti. Comes out of spawn and goes to ‘scope’ in the screen shows the interface but doesn’t actually scope in as normal. Looks super sus when it happens to you still.
