Keyboard on console?

Hello, I have noticed a lot of people on ps4 overwatch being able to type really fast in chat. How do they do it? I tried using the PlayStation Second Screen app and it didn’t work with Overwatch (but all other games, of course).

I had hoped that most players on console would be using a controller, but I’m starting to think that’s not the case (which makes me wonder, why they aren’t on PC, but I digress).

Any idea what I can do so I can write faster on console overwatch? :frowning:

If I were to buy some cheap keyboard, could I connect it to the PS4 just to write in chat without being forced to get a xim thing and still being able to use the controller like normal?

How do other people do it?

So not sure about PlayStation, but on Xbox, you can hook up a usb keyboard to use as the chat keyboard. And you will have Xbox players in your game through crossplay unless you turn it off

I ordered some cheap keyboard now and will see if it works. Would be cool to be able to chat properly. Thanks.

Is it also console cross platform in comp? I’ve been wondering.
