Keyboard Input Lag

I’ve seen that several other people have experienced the same issues I am having. Today I had keyboard input lag for the third time in the past week. Whenever I pressed a key it took the game between 1 and 30 seconds to respond. The lag starts out of nowhere and does not come about gradually. I have to restart my computer to stop the lag.

Most the time I am playing I do not experience any performance issues. But after having been suspended from a second competitive game I figured it’s time to try and solve this. Any help would be appreciated. The lag also occurs outside of the game when I am trying to use my computer after closing overwatch. However, I am under the impression that the lag is caused by overwatch. I could be wrong and it may be an issue with my computer or windows 10. Anyways, figured these forums would be a good place to start looking for answers.

Hey man! I know this is late but I was just having this issue and found the solution thanks to an old OW forum. Here is what the guy said that worked perfectly for me. I had to completely uninstall Nahimic. Seems like it’s an MSI issue:

“I was looking into this as I had been personally having the problem; even after replacing my keyboard, reinstalling windows, redownloading overwatch, etc. My problem wasnt fixed until I restart my computer so it may be different for others but what I did is look in my crash log and I saw that nahimic audio was having an error around the time it started lagging. I uninstalled nahimic and my problem was fixed instantly. So if you’re still having this problem, check your error logs a little after it happens and you might find your problem.”
