Kephrii, one of the most recognizable faces of the Overwatch community has quit the game because of the amount of hackers and cheaters in this game. And he is right, the game is full of them. I do know that Blizzard eventually bans the cheaters but only after accumulating a huge amount of accounts before hand. While I understand why do they do that, this practice is ruining the game for players in the here and now. If a hacker is detected, Blizzard should instantly end the match and ban the account at that very moment. Also Junkinstein for like the 3rd or 4th year in the row?! Kephrii was right, come on Blizzard take your game more seriously.
Hhmmm… what game is he fleeing to?
I’m surprised kragie hasn’t quit, it seems like literally every time I watch his stream he does a replay review of a hacker lol
but i thought they implemented a new system that would auto cancel matches if they catch a hacker? I haven’t seen it once to be honest.
neither have I, and I watch a freak ton of Overwatch on Twitch.
The match cancellation feature is only for verified hacks detected by Overwatch’s software. If you do suspect cheating, report that player using the in-game report form. If you have information about cheats, hacks, or exploits, report them in an email to hacks@blizzard.com.
Who? i have never heard of this person
so it’s still gonna take forever to get them caught? why don’t we already have pMod’s or ghost mod’s in game already or a system that you know makes it so GM’s can spectate possible cheaters resulting in faster turn arounds? i don’t know… there’s a lot of systems that i’ve used before that could help but it seems blizzard doesn’t want to and is depending purely on third party protection or ??
Streamer, one of the more famous ones
As long as the devs are still getting they check they don’t care.
What is a pMod? Do you mean player moderators? This is not in the legal interests of Blizzard according to my understanding.
Still doesn’t ring a bell.
It doesn’t matter that much, people’s interests fade and come back all the time. One person leaving isn’t that big of a deal, no matter who they are
yeah
pMods - player Moderator’s
and
gMods - Ghost Moderator’s
are basically trusted long term players that have been in the community a very long time that can help with ticket times, and push major tickets to GM’s faster. Also yeah I know that was the answer it’s been their answer for awhile even though they used to hire players into GM and dev positions which i find funny lol. I just think there’s a lot of options that are there on the table but they choose not to use them.
Anyone is always welcome to apply for positions available at Blizzard. Find them here:
That only happens if 50% of that match reports the guy and worst part is the hacker isn’t even banned but can just requeue after a review of blizzard he gets removed
I appreciate that but here let me pack up all my life and belongings to move to California which is burning right now or China lol. How is someone who is disabled and has a life and stuff somewhere else just supposed to jump ship to go to California when mofo’s over here don’t even hire the disabled not to mention blizzard seems to be silencing people which idk doesn’t feel right especially when I believe every voice matters.
yup, which makes it a longer process than it needs to be so tickets come into them less it feels to me? I know that’s not the case but still I can’t help but feel like it is.
Im with Drowsy here still never heard of him
I am not saying specifically you have to apply silly. I am just saying the opportunity is there for anyone willing to build a career with them.
He can’t accept there are better players than him. It wouldn’t be the first time he accused someone of cheating that wasn’t and just more skilled.
