Keep getting disconnected

About 10 times in ranked matches today, 5 times in the menu.
In the latest game alone I had 4 disconnects.
So lets start countering all the copy solutions the Technical Support is gonna give here:

  1. Hurhur yes i restarted my PC multiple times already
  2. Yes this is a common problem, in the last 3 days I have seen so many people randomly disconnect I cant count it on two hands
  3. No its not because of my internet, it doesnt even spike, im on 30 ping and suddenly “Connection lost”
  4. Restarting the game after a dc doesnt help, I restart it, I rejoin, 10 seconds later the red connection icon appears and another 10 seconds later im gone again

Fix your game or i will find a way to get my money back

same here on pc, 500fiber connection, continous ping eu.battle.net without one paket drop, but random gameserver disc since today

As i type this I got kicked again, so its not the maintanence

I just had it happen 4 times to me in the past 15 minutes, I just gave up for the day. The maintenance is supposed to have ended 3 hours ago by now. All of the friends I was playing with weren’t having any issues either. (EU Servers)
Mostly happened while in Menus and once while spectating, I just get the random “disconnected” red icon popping up. After about 5 seconds, connection to the server is lost.
My connection continues to work fine everywhere else though, so only OW is affected by this.

Just got 10 matches penalty, im done, im deinstalling this game until this s*** is fixed

If you’re playing on EU servers, you’d want to check on the EU forum and the news feed for that region. This forum only covers the Americas and Oceania.

Unfortunately, there is no information at all in the EU forum. We did not even get the maintenance message.

Is there an official statement on this? I have searched for it without success.
I think it makes sense to collect such reports in one place.

Staff in the Americas handles the forums and tickets for players in the Americas and Oceania, so they aren’t likely to have much info on EU servers or ISP issues happening in that region.

In the middle of a competitive game on Overwatch, the server completely crashed and it booted me out of the game(my team was winning and this completely sabotaged that). I tried to connect back to the game only to see that I was put on a 15 minute suspension from playing. The next day, I played Overwatch again and the same thing happened. I tried to log back in and saw that I was put on an hour suspension from playing. If I am disconnected from the game and it is the fault of the servers/game, why am I being penalized for it.? If Overwatch 2 is taking this long to come out, the least Blizzard could do is keep Overwatch playable and keep the servers managed. There are always scheduled maintenances, but I see absolutely no difference or improvement after these so called “maintenances”. Blizzard needs to rethink their priorities.

Are you also in the EU? I’ve been able to play Comp without issue on the LA and Chicago servers, but I don’t ever use the EU ones from here.

A few people in the EU forums describe this problem as well. Unfortunately there is no information about this issue or any notification about maintenance or anything else that could relate to that problem

I’m actually not sure how to check this. I am on console and on the east coast. I think I am connected to the Chicago server, but not 100% sure.
