Ok so maybe 600 damage is a bit much. How about 400? Lets tanks survive while killing everything else.
The reason why it’s unironically a good change is it forces the enemy team to respect out of mech Dva and staggering becomes much harder with the 30% ult charge decrease. If you don’t kill her in a timely manner, she can punish your bad positioning by means of instant death. It’s an ult after all. It should be threatening. All you’d have to do is not be right on top of her. It makes too much sense not to have.
While we’re at it, the three second booster duration is such an incredibly good change that it really needs to be pushed to live. It actually lets her be aggressive while allowing for retreat so long as you use the whole duration.
That’s what I like about both of these changes. They both are potentially not buffs at all. The three second booster duration requires you to use all three seconds for any benefit to be had. Often times that’s not how you use them anyway. It’s just that the option is there which is great for giving her viability depending on the situation. The call mech damage only occurs if the enemy is directly under her at all. The only real buff is the 30% ult change which she also really needs.
Anyway just give us Dva buffs within the next year please
mech calldown should have always been extremely damaging. if you’re killing baby dva and you need to be on top of her to do it, and she crits you enough to get her mech back, you deserve to die to the mech. true that 600 is too much. even 400 might be too much. i think something like 100-300 is enough to make it a serious ability.
I say 150 at center down to 50 at 3m. Can’t have D.va mech call being better than Doomfist ULT.
But in order for this to work D.va needs to either be immune to damage while calling and getting in her mech or take 50% reduced damage at the very least.
Lmao your idea is the least powerful idea I’ve ever heard. If you’re on top of a 200 hp target with call mech, they should be dead no question about it
It’s an ultimate. It deserves to do high damage. It’s easy to avoid by merely being a few feet away from Dva. Honestly it’s incredible it doesn’t do at least enough to kill a dps char as it is.
It’s not really a “true” ultimate. I can easily think of high level play combinations that would make a 300-600 damage AoE effect on mini-Dva outright overpowered and would definitely see this get nerfed.
Hence, realistic suggestions should be considered.
