First off, why are you butchering Brigitte like this? She’s already weak as all heck, and you’re making her weaker? The heck?!
Second, for Orisa, what is with that Halt nerf!? That makes the ability practically useless. If you don’t want the ability in the game, just bloody remove it.
Third, what’s with the Sigma nerf? He was fine as is, he doesn’t need to be nerfed.
Fourth, that Pharah nerf is highly unneeded.
Fifth, I have nothing to say about Roadhog, Sym and Zenyatta. Their changes aren’t that significant. Granted, I’m not sure what they mean by “delay” for Sym, so it could be significant.
Blizzard is trying to shift the meta away form the “boring” double shield + Brig meta its been in. So… yeah. Sledge hammers for Orisa, Sigma, and Brigitte.
I’m curios how having the opinion that nerfing most of the meta and a couple underperforming characters getting small buffs/reverts makes me selfish or apathetic towards the state of the long term game?
Or was this just a really salty way of saying you disagree?
Because the patch is 100% designed to try to excite OWL viewers; it’s been confirmed by devs already. The only other thing it’s going to do beyond that is make people leave the game. If you say otherwise, then you’re part of that isolated 1% of the playerbase that the game is going to cater to. But if you want to be that greedy about updates, there wont be anyone left for you to play with, just people leaving the game.
Because being meta is not a good reason for nerf, and nerfing meta heroes encourages the selfish (perhaps jealous is the better word) attitude of “hey X is popular so we must drag it down.”
If Sigma and Orisa are too good when teamed up then they should find ways to break up the duo and not make each of them weaker individually.
Jeff, himself has already mentioned maybe at most 2 months ago that it’s not their objective to trash heroes, if this patch goes through he will be lying to every last person playing OW as we speak.
She’s strong in GM. Your rank doesn’t matter to Blizzard.
Double-shield must go, so there can only be one viable shield tank.
It’s meant to be a buff, but you’re not the only one that thinks gaining extra speed isn’t worth losing infinite flight. (I’m neutral on the point; as an Ashe main, I find her mobility slightly annoying in that she can be unexpected places and get cover faster, but if she doesn’t get to cover she isn’t really any harder to shoot down which I suspect was the intention.)
… so people can finally play other supports and have at least comparable levels of success to 4gitte. This is actually a great patch for support mains, you can actually run Zen and Lucio without being harassed for throwing, because Brig won’t be better in every way anymore.
