Just realized: Hammond is the oldest Character in Overwatch

There was a weird suggestion-thread about adding a underaged hero into a shooter game. I think it was more for fun than serious, but one responded to my post with: “How old is Hammond”

And that make me thinking. Yes, in human years the rodent in the droideka cosplay is 14 years old… but since hamsters have a other scale for years and 1 human year equals like 58 hamster years. I came to the conclusion that Hammond is actually around 812 years old and with that cannonically the oldest character in Overwatch by far.

Thank you for your time, live long and in prosper xD

That is a good question. But now we can finally tell: Hammond is actually just a old, mean grandpa.

He’s not a normal hamster anymore clearly.

Normal hamsters don’t grow to the size of dogs and have the intelligence to create their own mechs and compete in mech fighting tournaments.

I for one welcome our hamster overlords.

A lot of people don’t realize how BIG Hammond actually is. Dude is nearly the size of a small child!

A hamster’s lifespan is only 2-4 years, but Hammond’s bioengineering increases his lifespan to become as close as human lifespans so that is why Hammond is the oldest hero in Overwatch although Sigma is the oldest villain in Overwatch.

812 years and still fighting human gladiators. What’s your excuse guys?

I mean, there might not be a hamster kaiju in the centre of the Earth the keeps running on giant hamster wheel to rotate the Earth.
