As a Hanzo player, I hate the Storm Bow projectile size buff.
Why are they making him easier instead of just addressing the fact it’s the stat checks that are making him bad more than mobility creep?
Just buff his primary damage.
Dragon buff is very nice. People won’t so easily be able to merely walk out of it.
Still not gonna pick the Lunge perk.
Still not gonna pick the Scatter perk.

them making a lot of characters super easy is bad.

Probably because Illari had a bigger projectile size while also being hitscan. On a somewhat more serious note, it’s still the smallest non-hitscan projectile, IIRC.
The funny thing about this, is that Sojourn hitscan Railgun is still bigger lol

Honestly, let Hanzo hit for 140 damage. Id even be ok with 110 damage but a 2.5× multiplier.

110 body would be really bad for him, though. There are times you absolutely have to go for the bodyshots.
Wow, you’re right, it still is. LMAO

Idk i haven’t played hanzo since S9. Him and junk got the short end of the stick.
Sweet. More headshots that I got by complete accident.

I actually like the projectile buff, is just enough fix to hit slim enemies strafing left and right in the same spot and avoiding arrows by luck or the little bit of lag that I have with 80 ms.
Lunge still is kind of useless, even if it recharged instantly I don’t know if it would be that good, maybe if it made it so you can wall climb multiple times before touching ground it would be useful although not better than dragon.
Dragon buff is cool, as now you have two arrows with speed buff, and I feel it mess less with my timing.
he not oneshotting reaper, mei, symmetra or torbjorn is not a problem, just cassidy is the one that is too strong and is giving a lot of trouble for me because he can kill you faster than you can shoot 2 arrows, and you need 3.

It was so from the start because she’s a support : it seems the devs have a strong prejudice that tanks and supps players have bad mechanics and should be easier mechanically.(The bullet size of Hana Song and Mercy was the biggest, even bigger than Junkrat’s in OW1 and before S9)
Idk if you played him yet but, he has some sorta bug where you draw his arrow fully but it shoots a normal uncharged arrow.
happened twice in 9 games.
Not sure if its me or the game though, didn’t happen pre patch
I’m working at the moment, but I’ll test that when I get home.
I didn’t think it needed the buff on size but the perk for speed is definitely noticeable outside of storm arrows, it’s kinda nice.
These buffs are massive man. I am more afraid Hanzo will become a safe pick or even “meta” like ashe, S76, cass, or sojourn (okay, maybe not sojourn lol) and then people will cry to nerf him, making him to be in unplayable state in S9 again
I was already winning games with reverted draw time and buffed projectile speed buff from storm arrow. Buffing projectile size will increase “that’s bull” complains. Rather they buff his projectile speed or not doing so many buffs at once like this lol
The dragonstrike buff is nice tho, dragonstrike was not that bad as people say, because it can counters deployable a bit now like LW tree.
Super easy? Idk about that, hanzo was the only hero in the game unaffected by the projectiles changes for a while until now. He was easily the hardest hero in the game hands down. He required waaay more effort to get value with compared to every other dps in the game. At least now he’s finally on par with everyone else, this making him balanced. His projectile is still slow so literally just strafe and even with bugger projectiles, he’s still most likely to miss lol.

I think the direction is false. OHK bullets should be as small as possible and be the fastest to reduce the accidents as much as possible imo.
I’d rather make his arrow speed like 110m/s → 125m/s(same as current Freja), and nerf the size when it’s necessary. Also, I’d reduce the bullet speed of Freja.
I agree, it’s nice having a bigger projectile but I personally would have increased his projectile speed instead. The power in each shot feels a little cheesy when the size is huge. I do see however why blizzard took the size over speed. Back when hanzo had faster projectiles in OW1, he was just a plain better widowmaker. Im sure they want to avoid that again
I know it was too good when its speed was 125m/s in OW1, but it was good relatively when all the bullets were much smaller in OW1. Now hitscans and other projectiles have much higher accuracy and crit rate with bigger bullets since S9, and I also don’t understand why Freja should have faster arrow than Hanzo.
