This was already something you mentioned around the time you announced new weapon “variants”, back when “jade” weapons were announced (and called emerald).
Why the hell can’t we combine our currencies to at least get gold weapons? Why should we sit with e.g. in my case, 820 “gold weapon points” for a whole damn year before I can do anything with them. Just let us spend them now for God’s sake.

I agree. Way too many currencies in this game. There should just be 2 at the max.
Don’t need competitive points. Regular currency you earn and the premium for the shop. Any more than that means the dev team is doing too much
I dont think its completely unreasonable to have different currencies in the game as a whole, but in this case its pretty egregious. I dont see why we need “comp points” and “legacy comp points” with some obscure convoluted system that decays them into legacy points at the end of the year. As the user above said, it’s just FOMO mechanics. Very anti-user design patterns.
This late into the game gold guns dont really mean anything anymore, so i say just reduce the prices. Personally i think gold guns look lame and gaudy, but thats me.
