Fighting enemy roadhog at the spawn when we’re at the last point defending should be instantly detected and permaban.

How do you spawncamp roadhog as lucio? We were getting slaughtered on the front due to lack of healing, meanwhile lucio is fighting roadhog for a few seconds until he gets hooked at their spawn and instakilled? How is that “good value”? Explain how that’s good value.
Roadhog respawned, walks out of spawn, lucio starts fighting him, roadhog hooks him and instakills and then starts running towards the fight.
Are we talking about a map where the Lucio could win with a boop, or one with no hazards? One is good value, the other isn’t.
King’s row, they had second spawn. Literally nowhere to boop him. Roadhog walked out of the spawn and lucio engaged him, he managed to stay alive for a whole 2 seconds until roadhog hooked him and instakilled him.
Yep, definitely not a good Lucio decision. Engaging a tank at spawn like that usually doesn’t make sense unless there’s environmental hazards to use. I can see trying to spawn camp a support or dps on King’s Row, but a tank is usually pretty fruitless.
The issue isn’t just spawncamping, it’s abandoning the team and doing it for the entire match. I’ve seen Lucios sit outside volskaya 2nd defender spawn for an entire match and only get two engagements because their team couldn’t even get picks on 1st. They also lost both duels and the match lol.
I’m a Lucio main and even I know that’s a stupid move.
Same can be said for some Genji players tho… they want to 1v5 everything that moves!
Good Lucio play involves wearing lots of hats during a match: healer, taxi, disruptor, and even spawn camping assassin. Getting stuck on one is never good.

They should add keywords for reporting where if you type “Reddit” “Lucio” “feed”/“throw” in the same report box it’ll count as 4 gameplay sabotage reports
Play a lot of Lucio. Can get value with him spawn camping on a map with easy environmental hazards. But I rarely find situations when that spawn camp will add more value than staying near the team to support them.
At most I’ll rush to kill one person as they spawn and get back. If they are bad enough to allow that to happen to them more than once, they won’t be an issue if they join the team fight. So no point in sticking around to do it again IMO.
Most effective spawn camping I’ve seen in my matches is a Tracer/Sombra duo doing it. While the rest of us handle the stragglers that get past them with zero issue. And if they have the sense to group up inside of spawn, those two can get back to the other 4 quickly.

Okay but only if we add autodetection for any other hero being played “incorrectly”. If a Mercy does anything other than heal, kick them. If a Rein does anything other than hold shield, kick them. If a Widow isn’t getting a 6k every fight, kick them.
Theres no way to detect that.

If you’re fighting against them pushing on last point and your lucio is at their 2nd spawn dying to roadhog that just walked out of the door, he’s clearly and blatantly throwing. Not hard to detect with algorithms.
No automatic system can understand context. And the context is what matters.
when the Moira goes off to 1v1 a full health roadhog not realising that she’ll never be able to kill him due to her low damage + Take a breather will be off cooldown before she can even kill him lol.
It actually pains me to see in QP when someone takes Moira and they fade to Roadhog. I realise from that point I’ll be solo healing for most of the game and switch to Ana/Bap lol
