Just a bit of fun: assign elemental bending styles to the OW cast (avatar:TLA)

Like the title says, if you’ve seen Avatar the last airbender you know what I mean and if you haven’t, you’re missing out lol.

Assign an element to the cast, water, eart, fire or air. Here’s my take but I dont I don’t think I’ll cover them all:

Roadhog: earthbender

Junkrat: Firebender, probably mastered combustion (and blew himself off a few times)

Tracer: clearly an airbender with her carefree attitude and hopeful demeanor

Zennyatta: also an airbender, fits perfectly.

Genji & Hanzo: I’d say they’re both firebenders

Moira: I see her as one of those warerbenders that can bloodbends and probably does crazy experiments with her abilities

Lucio: if you consider music a way of airbending…maybe…stretching it a bit :sweat_smile:

Reinhardt: clearly earthbender, his ult says it all.

Brigitte: earthbender, probably a metalbender too, which really helps her in her engineering.

Torb: even though his daughter is an earthbender, I see torb as a firebender.

Mercy: waterbender, because of her healing.

Sombra: I really do not know. I’m tempted to say that she doesn’t have any bending abilities but is able to chi block.

Symmetra: waterbender but specialized in sculpting ice into any shape or form she wishes.

Aaand I can keep going but it’ll take me forever, you guys keep adding other heroes or rebranding them how you see fit!

Reaper: All of them, because he is the most charismatic and intelligent character in this game, and if the foolish elements know what’s best for them, they will bend to the eternal will of the ominous Reaper.

Zenyatta is clearly an airbender.

Pharah feels like a firebender.

Reinhardt is earthbender.

Wrecking Ball would be an earthbender I believe.

Ana would also be a waterbender.

I think I see Brigitte more as Asami, but pharah as Korra is pretty spot on

I’m torn between firebender or airbender, but she does have duty and something that drives her, so firebender fits better, she doesn’t seem detached or enlightened :sweat_smile:

The anti-bending ability is technically water bending.

Well depends, yeah using blood bending the right way can block bending, but in the first series Tai Lee wasn’t a bender, she just used the pressure points, I kinda see sombra more sneaky like fighting that way instead of waterbending.

But yeah she could definately be a deadly waterbending assasin that blocks chi and maybe uses icy daggers

That and she can fly and blow things up, and is passionately driven by ideals is why she is more firebender. Yes airbenders can fly, and can fly better, but they can’t blow things up.

The iphone 6 had structural issues and was prone to bending if people tried to bend it or wore skinny jeans. It’s also the most powerful of all the elements… somehow.

Of the entire cast he’s the most capable of making an iphone and subsequently bending it.

Orisa: Earthbender

I’d imagine using Halt would give her an advantage by being able to pull rocks of the ground. Also, her Fortify makes it that she’s sturdy against other Earthbenders.
