Juno needs a rework

Hear me out

I just made a thread but this topic didnt fit with it so i gotta do 2

Juno, like a few heros in overwatch, has a a very clear balancing problem.

In non metal ranks, she is apprently horrible, meanwhile in metal ranks she is beyond broken

Every game there is a juno, and everygame, no matter what team, she gets 20 kills.

this design needs to change, metal ranks need to be balanced too.

damn bro she’s been out like a week.

yeah, she got nerfs on release too

it wasnt enough

I just want blizzard to try to balance metal ranks separately from non metal ranks, before they try to add 6v6, cause thats gonna make balancing even harder.

I am completely torn. She just needed a few skill based tweaks after early access. Redistribute her damage to justify a critical multiplier and take the power out of the corny autolock. But yeah, if THIS is the direction they are going, perhaps a rework is the only way to truly save her. Not that it matters. You cannot convince people that Sombra’s pseudo-harassment of a single player and subsequent lack of viability against people who coordinate is poor design. It ain’t happening. She is too cute for that.

Not surprising to me at all that people find reasons to hate literally any hero.

Afk shooting into your team is an easy way to get high numbers, true. But saying high numbers make a character good is silly. Looking at you Moira.

Also, clipping for 85 with torpedoes counts as an Elim. 20 is kinda low tbh

No, she is not and I play currently in the medal ranks. She can get 20+ elims, but mainly due to spam and not because she is strong. As soon as you understand (or the enemy), that she is a free kill and as long as you have mobility, you will keep up with her, she is dead. There is no reason to play Juno once one enemy notices her. You can play her if they continue to play the poke game and even in this situation she is mid.

People swapping off her quite often and in some matches people dont even try to use her and its not even week 1. She is not a problem, no matter what you think is going on: you are completly wrong.

I mean sombras poorly designed too, the difference is that she can be dealt with in lower ranks.

Im only gold, and yes I understand Juno is not playable in masters or GM, but she is crazy good in gold, like I said, shes basically a dps, much like illari and kiriko before her(im sick of the dps support hybrids blizz)

but juno is in every game… whatever happened to waiting 2 weeks before releasing new heros to comp??? that was a good strategy.

im gold

for a support thats wild

and thats not what im saying, it was just an example

Juno is also stupid mobile(which is a theme in metal ranks, if a support is mobile they r probably broken, aside from lucio cause he takes skill to master his mobility), her damage is consistent, and its in bursts which makes it worse. her missles are lock on, and thats fine if it was a big burst of healing only, but 85 damage is a decent amount for a lock on ability. Plus her ult is crazy, its like orisas old Drum, but clearly designed to be a dps ult(its a lazer beam from the sky… glassing beam purifacation beam whatever, it shouldve been a damage ult).

Just wondering Is this in comp?

Remember why we dont look at hero power level in qp lads? Remember?

ofc its comp

Im fine if characters are broken in qp, its not competitive

to me juno feels like a great idea, executed poorly

plus they gave hanzo his 1 shot back, so so far this season aint it

Okay fair enough.

I have not been frustrated with or against a juno in comp yet. Plat rank.

I have seen one that was really good, obviously had good mechanical aim. I lost, but the game wasnt unwinnable, it was very close. That was just one Juno out of about 15.

oh also juno can outrun dragonblade

love that
