Is it just me or does her fly feel kinda clunky. I thought it would work like Echo. Limiting it to horizontal feels gross.

It is clunky, perhaps intentionally so. She should at very least be able to descend. Being completely locked out of vertical movement while in the air seems like a pretty hefty disadvantage.

I don’t think so. I sort of treat it like I’m walking on another surface. So you can strafe back and forth while forcing someone to look up higher than they normally would.
Doubt anyone would understand the reference but if you’ve played Blazblue Central Fiction there’s a character called Izanami which lets you play grounded based combat but also in the air. So combo routes get pretty insane if you launch someone and then jump cancel into her special floating platform to then scoop them up.
In OW2 instead of combo routes you’re just forcing awkward camera movement.

I don’t think she is intended to “fly”, which would explain why she can’t move as freely as other heroes like Echo or Pharah

If you use your double jump before using the boost you cant gain extra height during the movement as well. Feels like popping the boost should reset the double jump once.

Also no headshot damage but you get falloff on the projectiles feels a bit strange. Best to just aim for bodyshots like on Ana I guess.
I really feel like the glide boost should atleast reset her double jump,it feels a bit too restrictive.

It will take practice but the whole point is to use the shift ability and space bar correctly to make the most of it.
I don’t have any complaints in that regard.
Calls space ranger can’t even fly 
You can glide high when using environment to jump at the highest point of the map. Her mobility will synergize well with heroes like Lifeweaver and Mei (because of the wall) for instance.
I don’t mind she’s not "really " flying, tbh.

Teammates helping you to fly , she will have better luck asking enemy junkrat to mine her.

xD… Juno players will be more observant and try to use petal platforms whenever they see one, I guess, haha…

In space it would take much less effort to get around. So when gravity is involved… it would make sense that she can’t fly on Earth

She is a space ranger out of her element. If you remember, she was sent to Earth possibly by mistake

^ This. It just puts you in an awkward camera movement in which instead of treating it like an Echo’s Flight, I found more success with treating it like a Cassidy’s Combat Roll
