May 1st hotfix balance patch wasn’t a significant change.
She’s still been in 90 % of my games while climbing from Rookie to All-Star and you’re at a severe disadvantage if you don’t have someone playing her over the course of the game.
PulStar scaling is still insane for being tied to a standard ability. For starters, just change it to a flat 30-50 damage instead of scaling with AP, change the Lifesteal back to AP but make it 10 % and, for the love of god, please don’t force characters in to the game mode in a clearly rushed state because you want to sell a Mythic skin ever again.
I’m sure there are other problems that will arise with Juno in regards to stadium considering she was very clearly rushed in to the game mode just to sell this season’s Mythic, but at least properly hitting PulStar will start to reel it back a little.
Please, Blizzard, my main squeeze, my good ole buddy ole pal, lets just tone it down a little and properly this time. I’m sure enough people have bought the Juno Mythic at this point, we can reel it back in, at the very least, just a tad at this point.
Easy way to nerf the missile build would be to make it use ability power instead of attack power.
That way it wouldn’t scale with gun strength.
The player would have to choose if they want to buff the pistol or pulsars, since they couldn’t do both with just one stat.
It’s an autolock and homing ability, it shouldn’t scale with base dmg.
Are you serious right now?
Juno is hardly an issue as long as you dont take her missiles to the face.
Soldier’s the one that’s overtuned and maybe Lucio.
Juno though? All you gotta do is aim up and not run towards her projectiles and you are good
Soldier is easy to dodge. . . you can outrun bullets now? Or are you just trying to come up with excuses because once they actually do something about soldier, you’ll lose your easy mode?
Juno’s projectiles do not go around corners, that’s a lie. Everytime i hear the lock on sound cue i run for cover and it works.
It’s not.
If the pulsar has locked onto you, it will follow you to an extent.
If i swoop into cover on mercy after lock on, that pulsar will follow me behind cover and still hit me.
If i take one step to cut los from soldier at any point, he can’t shoot me anymore.
Lol everything is overturned in stadium lol. I lost a match yesterday after being up 3-1 because the other teams Lucio became unkillable and infinitely stalled and after 45 minutes they eventually played long enough to unlock all epic items across the board money wise. And thus the dumb problem of “economy” rather than round based which made junkenstein so much better than stadium.
I tried that build for my first stadium game and the damage was really bad against the high health pools. Plus the enemy Juno was running the torpedo build and it’s just objectively better.
It does not scale with attack power. Thats why they remove a 15% ability damage bonus and reduced another 20% to 10%, reducing the max ability strength by a fat 20%. Juno is still strong, but not as OP as other heroes anymore.
Just play cover and Juno has a hard time locking on. And even if she does you can easily step back to break LOS.
Juno isn’t even forcing you to play this way. You should be using corners and cover anyways.
When you add the absolute absurdity that is DPS hitscan in Stadium, the build takes another big hit.
Soldier is insane. And Cree and Ashe aren’t far behind. If you spec for ability damage, you’re going to be quite squishy.
Even putting a bit of pressure on Juno can cause the build to fold. Genji specifically can shred an ability damage focused Juno. An Ana paying attention can quickly force Juno to retreat.
So no. It’s not OP. I don’t think it even was initially, but people are still complaining.
For me there are only a couple maps I’m having issues with with this. But it’s likely a map knowledge issue and not knowing how to play it really yet. Like the big round one. No one seems to have settled on good team fight locations yet so often you are trapped between good spots. But I figure that’s just a time/skill issue that will grow with map knowledge.
