Initially I thought the character would actually be really good. Like a Lucio killer where she can heal like Baptiste/Ana while providing speed boost utility like Lucio. The reality is that while she arguably does have insane speed utility (The ring lasts 5 seconds while on 13 sec cooldown), she lacks alot of the survivability and overall mobility Lucio has while not really providing anything meaningful that makes her a better pick. On top of that, her healing leaves alot to be desired and her missiles feel like they donât do much compared to just using primary fire.
I initially thought her ult was going to be insane also, but it seems kind of small and easy to play around (if youâre an enemy donât play in it) but maybe its because sheâs new and people arenât playing in it as much as they should. Overall though, I feel like her ult would be better if it was just stationary and didnât move at all.

Her mobility is useless. Junker can chase her down, Venture, Tracer, and Winston. To top it all off, she has no self healing.

Yea her lack of self sustain definitely doesnât help her in not feeling like a throw pick.

You can have both and coordinate your speed boosts. Juno also doesnât have to choose between speed and healing, because she canât. Therefore, outside of using her speed ring she can focus on healing while LĂșcio does what he does. She has a relatively high healing range, so she doesnât have to be inside the death ball to do her job.
Coordination very difficult. Overwatch player stupid.
She has to choose between healing and damage. Thatâs an L. Bass Boost wins by doing nothing.
Thatâs sounds amazing! Can I please be the Juno, please. You healbotted last time, itâs my turn to heal. I just have to be the one to heal!
You do not see why that is BORING?! You guys go have fun, mommy will sit and watch. Yikes!!!
I think she is in a good spot. Maybe needs some fine tuning, but overall very good.
She isnât Lucio, so I would not compare her playstyle to him at all, other than the fact that they are good opportunists that can finish off kills.
I donât think she needs any form of self sustain as her mobility is what keeps her alive, she has very good mobility to just constantly reposition herself and gain advantages against others. It is very easy to go find cover with her flight+dash+speed ring, but people want to try and take the 1v1âsâŠdonât, just fly away. She has such a large hitbox that it probably wouldnât even matter if she did have a form of sustain. (she also has shield health, which is a small form of self sustain which helps her a lot already IMO)
She isnât a duelist, so I donât play her as such. She is very very good at finishing off heroes and poking, while focusing on keeping her tank up generally. She has very offensive capabilities, use them as such to help your team.
She has a lot of potential and is a fun character, but they need to give her some buffs to make her stronger and more fun. Her flight is just clunky and needs to work like echos and she needs to be able to headshot. The missiles also need to lock on faster so that it doesnât feel like healing with primary is the better choice every time.

I disagree as to me âbadâ is an accurate description for a kit that has issues with itâs fundamentals/core, like Mauga as an example. What youâre talking about is more an issue with numbers. Which would mean she was undertuned and not bad.
I havenât made up my mind with my initial impressions yet, however I can see the angle for bumping her up in some regards. In that regard Iâve seen 3 prominent suggestions:
I take issue with giving her crit capabilities because I donât think a support with a focus on movement should have that capability in damage. You could argue well Lucio can crit and youâd be right. But not only is his movement completely tied to surfaces where as hers isnât, but she also has a damage ability. Lucio doesnât.
Further more her heal mode and damage mode are tied to each other mechanically. Meaning even her healing has drop off based on range. So by simply adding in a crit multiplier youâre now having to adjust multiple things and I really donât think the trade off would be worth it.
Iâm hesitant on giving her more movement flexibility due to the uptime she has on movement for herself as well as others. My personal suggestion would be to make Pulsar not a channeled ability. Being able to use her gun while using her skill is an elegant solution to number problems and creates more dynamic play with her kit.
Essentially it allows her to cook heals/delay damage. Pulsar is already insanely balanced. You can break LoS to break lock on and if you break LoS before the orb gets you it wonât track. Not to mention it goes on CD whether she cancels or fires if Juno locks onto anyone allies included.
Her ult is what I am stuck on evaluating still. Because I do have issues with it. But it doesnât check LoS and it goes straight through objects. So you can sort of look at it as a support version of Hanzoâs ultimate. Just much less range.
Iâve played her, you canât confuse having terrible teammates with whether there is something wrong with the kit. I want to believe most players here are gameplay dissociated from reality. If youâre good, youâre good, and Junoâs OK.
