Juno is actually VERY STRONG

What do you mean I’m not supposed to use speedboost to feed faster into the enemy team?! Positioning is for cowards.

7% accuracy aimbot. I should ask for a refund.

Just for extra context, I’ve been an Ana main for years, since way before OW2, and in the current season I have 7.9k healing AVG/10 min with her, while my my Juno is sitting at 11.2k. She literally has the highest HPS in the game.

Oh and my average weapon accuracy as Juno is 16%. Do with that what you will.

Idk if it’s just me I thought that it was Zarya in that icon until like this year when I saw people referring to it as a Sombra icon

I’m practicing Lucio roll outs this season because damage buff made feeding in enemy back line more attractive

im still finding it hard to learn her and make her super effective though ive honestly never been super great at support

The call outs are insane today tbh

Better be careful. AKJ will challenge you to a 1v1 and chicken out of it

I feel like she’s the perfect example of player perception just being off. It takes a few bursts of shots to kill an enemy or heal an ally, because she fires multiple rounds that do smaller increments. Her escape tools and mobility require thought, effort, map knowledge, and pre-positioning on the Juno player’s part. You can’t just Moira fade out when something scary is on top of you. Her speedboost, much like Lucio’s, is only as good as the person utilizing it to reposition.

These are things that sounds bad on paper and to a lot of metal players, but actually just require some game knowledge to play around. She’s a Lucio that can also main heal in the upper levels of play.

Yeah, her numbers are actually crazy if you know what you’re doing on her.

I think she is not very strong
,uhh I mean her strength

My apologies. Sarcasm isn’t easy to discern online.

Which is all well and good from a balancing perspective, if the win rate data looks good (which, as far as we know, it seems to at the moment).

And she is fun to play, but they left a lot of obvious room to make her feel better to play, which makes the overall picture (beyond just balancing) a little awkward. They could make changes to make her even more fun, basically.

For me, I think regardless of win data they should rebalance her kit so she gets at least some offensive crit multiplier, even if they have to use a reduced 1.5x or similar. I have similar feelings on her homing torpedos…they should work/feel better, but have a longer cooldown if necessary. I’m not trying to suggest they do any of this without compensating nerfs as needed.

By the way, I saw your custom game invite a couple days ago. I’m sorry I missed it, I was in the middle of a match at the time.

Not going to lie, I am convinced that Rings of Saturn in conjunction with reliable healing and damage is boosting her performance. She feels horrible to play, though. I would rather just pick Lucio. Um, gameplay wise. I hate Lucio as a character and Junes is so adorable.

But whatever. I will accept a higher chance of someone utilizing speed boost on my team. And even though I cannot quite swing my hammer at her when she is zipping and zooming, she is super inoffensive everywhere else. I enjoy playing against her.

It’s almost as if she got another patch since then that was a revert of the change we were all complaining about in the first place and resulted in both a net fun buff and net value buff, as well as the Devs nerfing the main hero who was making her life miserable (Tracer)

shocking!!

It’s almost as if that change was an adjustment to her numbers to smooth out her gunplay and had very little effect on her actual performance. That .5 damage nerf on Tracer really brought her up from trash to all over top 500, where Tracer and dive is still being played plenty. Crazy how one small nerf brings a character from being called a throw pick by metal players to literally all over the top 500 leaderboard. You’d almost think she was already a good pick.

It’s almost like she wasn’t USELESS and was actually good to begin with and that the other characters overperforming in other roles just made it seem like she was worse to metal players who had not fully picked up how to play around her mobility and were not aware of her strengths, but everyone else with better game knowledge and adaptability to the new character already knew she was actually strong and would only become stronger once the other characters got balance changes.

Wowza!

Juno is actually VERY STRONG

Only people without vision on this forum (and there are quite a lot of those, to my surprise) thought she was underpowered.

In terms of damage output, she’s so easy to get value out of, compared to Lifeweaver, for instance, who is my favorite support since Overwatch went F2P.

Even in QP, it’s not really hard to reach 7-8k damage as Juno in an “average length” match, let alone a huge amount of healing output.

Edit : As other posters already said, good team play always favor support heroes stats, especially Juno.

I did say once she finds her niche and dive gets some nerfs there will be a place for her. Turning DVA into an ICBM is rather strong.

Let our girl shine, it wont last

This just shows you lack an understanding of how high level balance works in OW lol. Unsurprising tho considering ur profile says ur plat/diamond. As someone who literally mains support in GM the past 7+ years, Juno was weak on launch because Tracer was way too good against 225 HP targets before her damage nerf, and she just didn’t fit into a flex or main support role well enough at all. The Tracer damage nerf was a big deal and put Tracer from way overtuned against squishies to a much less strong. It’s not a “small nerf” it’s something that has been changed several times during OW2 and swings Tracer’s balance rather drastically.

And it’s not just a Tracer nerf, but the damage buffs/firerate change + big glide CD buff + Tracer nerfs have helped her a ton to be a solidly viable hero but she’s still in an awkward spot meta-wise and she will be until the Devs decide if they want her to be a main or flex supp and make tweaks to push her solidly into one of those directions. If they want her to be a solid Lucio replacement they need to make the proper changes. Something like letting her healing missiles go through barriers + lock on faster to give her better peel potential to compete with Lucio/Brig’s peel and making her ult follow her around so her team can use it while kiting so it’s more flexible like Rally and Sound Barrier

Just think it’s silly you’re pretending like the Devs didn’t give her a massive mobility buff, solid damage buff, and minor HPS buff, while also pretty heavily nerfing her big counter. If she was so good on launch they wouldn’t have done any of those things rofl
