I really like Juno’s design and personality so far . Her qausi-alien personality and her general mood just make playing her fun . Although she does suffer from the ridiculously tight pants syndrome that many female characters ( and Genji ) suffer from . She still feels like a breath of fresh air appearance/character wise .
Her gameplay CAN also be really fun and feel rewarding . But I feel like she may need some fine tuning to be sure . I love the hover boots idea a great deal . But sometimes you feel like you can’t get up or down correctly . And the height limit sometimes feels like its either too high or too low . Sometimes I can slip up or down if I spam the jump key but sometimes I can’t . It feels like a great idea that just needs a little more play testing to hit that sweet spot …
I also kind of wish I could lock into a height so I can focus more of shooting the incredibly small ( at least they feel that way ) heal bullets . You find yourself often trying to stay in the air trying dodge all kinds of attacks while desperately hoping your DPS would just stand still to get healed . And since its easy to miss you and puts out minimal healing ( at least in the current health pool economy ) you find yourself reloading OFTEN . And it just feels like she either needs more healing per shot / more shots per click / or more ammo .
Her ring feels ok nothing to big but its looks and feels cool to use . I will say my favorite ability is her lock-on mode . The sound and visuals are very fun and feel awesome to use . It can be used to finish off targets but I believe it is best to start engagements instead . Also the group healing is a cool bonus for big team fights .
All in all I really like her as a character . Just a few rough edges that need to be ironed out . I would like to say a big Thank You to all the devlopers and animators who put sop much effort into this game as well !
