I’m an Australian who plays and watches cricket. I enjoy playing Junkrat, and I use the Cricket skin for him. I was looking at the model and just noticed he’s got the number 13 on his frag launcher and concussion mine.
Because it’s 13, I would assume this because it’s associated bad luck. The catch is in Australian cricket, 87 is considered the unluckiest number. It leaves the batsman 13 runs short of a century.
Statistically it isn’t any worse than you’d expect, but that’s not really the point of superstition =P
I think it would be a more appropriate number to see on Junkrat, and a cool little cultural reference.
