Junkrat hunting season ended a year ago

Maybe if youre under gold rank, or just unaware. But I won’t assume either of those from you, just in general he’s only played around gold and under.
Old junkrat was prime junkrat although youd kill yourself with the bombs but with not killing yourself with bombs and the plus 33% range junk would be golden
Mines are still inconsistent and when he is consistent he gets ult too quick.
And I hated getting hugged to death by enemy tanks.
He needs buffs and nerfs since he’s gotten the wrong nerfs over and over and over again. Such a mess of character balance, op in low ranks, throw pick high ranks. And tank meta running rampant. Such a shame.
That’s all he has going for him really.
the whole game needs a run through because when playing genji I died to a headshot that was right infront of me I should have deflected it but I didnt
Ive had hogs hook disconnect when I clearly hooked the hero and the hook went on cool down

His damage has to be high for being a tank buster. But he’s inconsistent now, and like most of the tank buster category of heroes are easily countered.
Theres a reason goats is high level meta and junkrat is not used to high success
i just wish his bombs didnt bounce so much, like after they first land the gravity should increase so they dont fly around so much. I hate dodging bombs just to have them bounce onto the wall then the ceiling then straight into the back of my head
So many bugs, it’s really sucking the enjoyment out of the game.
Not to mention the poor balancing. It’s a mess really.
He doesn’t take self damage so I’m not sure why you’re the one dodging.
They took that out before his 2nd mine buff, because enemy tanks could kill you by hugging your model and killing you with splash back.

That’s what I like to call “the tragedy of tank busters”, the burst damage is there, the potential is there but they just pale in comparison to so many other heroes available on the roster.
You need to put double the effort to be able to play them comfortably and to be able to be efficient at them, it’s ridiculous.
They bounce too much they should bounce maybe like 2 times or something than explode I dont want them to bounce like 7 times before the explode because thats what he feels like
If you check the thread I linked earlier I posted some nerfs to help balance some of the buffs in the main post.
Damage and size shrink after each bounce would help reduce spam and encourage direct hitting.
Hey, instead of trying to nerf him, let’s give him back his old projectile size.

Power creep and healing creep certainly hasn’t helped the game at all.
There’s a reason meta is 3/3 and qp is all 6 dps of 1/5 of one poor support or tank player.
2/2/2 just doesn’t cover it. DPS kill each other too quickly, so healers are buffed to help them survive but end up just making tanks and one shots more vaulable.
Ashe, a high powered dps that can kill in 2 shots certainly isn’t going to help this problem.
And her having similar to junkrat ablities, “armor melting explosive” and a push back ablity that she can use to boost herself and do damage, isn’t going to stop tank meta, it’s only going to push other dps down more.
Mines still inconsistent and if made consistent then it’s op.
He’s needs nerfs and buffs, if you have any ideas I linked a thread earlier that you can contribute to.
He’s needs rebalancing in general.
He needs his old projectile size and a higher ult charge. That’s it.
