Junkrat rip tire help

Hi! today I had a problem with this skill because the tire didnt grap on the wall and fall into the void. “I got very angry for that XD” If the community dont mind I need some tips to use this ult better because Im doing fine with Junkrat but I always miss all the tires

Thanks for the support!

Assuming we’re going in situations such as “the enemy is all grouped up”, you wanna start the RIP-Tire around a corner not too far from the enemy without them having LoS over you.

If the enemy is spread, you’re going for a 1 or 2 quick kills, make sure you “jebait” the enemy into thinking the Tire is coming in front, then change the path of your Tire by either well-timing jumps or using map walls and corners as well so the enemy can’t hit it properly.

IF you’re going for anything else, you are mostly into the “RIP-Tire that will break” section, if you try to go for a long-distance Rip-Tire, learn to jump from wall-to-wall the Tire. Also learn how to juggle the Tire by shaking it left from right to avoid certain people that are bad at aiming to kill it.

One tips for rip tire is not to always go for those big 4 man plays. Even killing 1 person is enough to win the fight

I mean my problems are with the tire movement, it feels weird and I don’t know how it works and his physics because, as I said yesterday sometimes it grips on the wall and sometimes no but in both cases I hold the spacebar xD

Ty for the answers

Go into the Junkrat only settings ( Options - Controls - change all heroes to Junkrat ) and find out if your riptire has autoclimb on or off. Try switching it and see if it feels more consistent
